When it comes to remembering someone, are you good at remembering their name?

What do you think?

Bonus Questions:

1. Do people always say your first name wrong?

2. Is your first name common or unique?

I can honestly say that I'm pretty average at remembering people's names. Haha!!
Some people say my name wrong, however I correct them which is followed by an apology. I have a very common/boring name!!!

I'm pretty good at it, but I'm better at remember a pets name tbh. People usually get my name wrong, it's Gabrielle, not Gabriel or Gabriella...

with TBi (trauma brain injury) I'm lucky to remember what I ate the day before, let alone connecting names to faces. with my disorder, it feels somewhat to face blindness. people often come to me and be like "remember me" and I'm like who are you and why are you talking to me. if I haven't heard and/or talked to someone in a few days their voice and/or face starts escaping from my memory. as a bonus I can rewatch things often and not retain the plot...

Pretty good, but if you're cute I'll probably remember every detail about you, the things we've done, conversations had etc. etc.

If I've seen someone more than once, then I could most likely remember their name easily. So, I guess I'm good at it.

No!

I've gotten in a bunch of really awkward situations at work due to my lack of ability to remember people's names.

Not to mention that some people feel offended when one forgets their name because supposedly that makes them feel that they don't matter.

How would I feel if someone forgets my name? I wouldn't care that much, I would just repeat my name and try to leave an impression so that the other person can associate my name with that.

Like for example the other person trying to remember my name would think: "What is the name of this guy? ah, he is anfex, the one who motorboated me"

After I've heard it about 3-4 times it sticks. Before that no.

Bonus:

1. Yeah
2. Pretty common

I can remember a name, but usually I'm too worried that I don't remember their name and I don't want to call them by an incorrect name. So I'll avoid saying a person's name and asking if I got their name right to the point where its 3 months later that I've known the person and its too late to ask for their name.

If your name is more than 10 characters, I won't remember. If you have a Thai name, I'm giving you a nickname.
