The first episode is now up: http://www.crunchyroll.com/yotsuiro-biyori/episode-1-welcome-to-rokuhoudou-caf-769329

Episode 1

Those dudes are hard at work running a cafe, and they sure have some innovative ideas for menu items. Pretty much, this is one of those laid-back shows where it's all about pretty boys being eye candy for the ladies, all while making their food there eye candy. It's good enough, but not exactly my cup of tea.

Yup, it's a pretty lighthearted relaxing show featuring mostly a male cast and food content.

I don't think there will be any complicated storytelling although it would be nice to learn more about the characters. A so-so start so far but definitely need to improve if it wants to keep my attention.

That building is huge given the small size of the cafe. I wonder if the guys live in the back portion.

I was starting to think this would have a supernatural vibe with Sui's vision where the woman had died and her spirit wondered into the cafe as some gateway to the next world.

Also, the cast is reminding me just how few male seiyuu there are as they're all ones I've heard a number of times before.

Total Ristorante Paradiso vibes here — refined coziness, minus the glasses. Good music selection sets the mood. Nice how 'rustic' is appreciated and becomes the backbone for both the long-time loyal and the wandering modern customer. The creativity of the featured dishes made my eyes sparkle (can foresee a few ideas in the kitchen being sparked by this show). Looking forward to meeting the next customer and settling down to the next welcoming meal.

Such a sweet show. It seemed like the anime version of those "music for relaxation/spa/yoga/meditation" albums you find on Spotify, something to put on and utterly unwind to. Didn't even know I needed this.

So cute guys doing cute things, sprinkled in with a healthy bit of food porn since it's a tea house. I tend to write off guy troop shows as they tend to be pretty bad, but this almost rivals Yuru Camp in terms of just how relaxing and enjoyable it is.

ekimen dudes who can make and serve yummy pretty looking food and I agree about it being relaxing

My favorite seiyuu , Suwabe san as Sui, Nakamura san as Toki,Daisuke Ono as Gure, and an unusual pick Daiki Yamashita who is Midoriya in My Hero Academia is Tsubaki and evetually Maeno san and Toriumi san will be in it

That cafe has a pathway lined with tall bamboo is almost very mystical , reminds me of this area in Kyoto

I like it this one

Episode 2

The next customer is Sae, and she's just overwhelmed at the sight of these boys that she runs away all embarrassed and everything. She ended up coming back after dropping her wallet in a panic. And it turns out that Sae's grandfather runs a teahouse that's on the verge of closing as times are changing. So the boys at Rokuhoudou decide to try out his tea to see if it s worthy of their show, and they pass to become part of the teahouse's menu. Things sure did work out in the end as while teabags might be more convenient, there's just no substitute for the quality of teahouse teas.

This is becoming a show where I can just throw it on and just relax and enjoy. I would not mid wandering into a shop like this in Japan, I'd probably never leave.

With the addition of the new character I'm starting to feel like this is a Thunderbolt Fantasy cast reunion.

Sae's character design really reminded me of Aho Girl. I half expected her to order a banana split.

A nice relaxing series. Looking forward to more.

Episode 2

Its all about tea , I love loose leaf tea. Its very relaxing to prepare it and drink it.Its almost a therapy in itself.

But I agree that a lot of buyer of loose tea leaves and mixes are cafe places who brew their own tea and not from a bag.I hate it when I order tea and they give you a commercial tea bag...although some are good but its not the same
