Few interesting bits, even though they mentioned exclusivity and simulcast for VIP members, they don't have information if it'll be available for free members 7 days after broadcast and the most interesting bit and the most interesting bit....... no start date/time, even though they say simulcast, it could well be a delayed simulcast.

Another Update: it looks like Wakanim have gained exclusive rights for their regions for series that would normally be exclusive to Amazon Prime https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/.139532

I have never seen a show that was an Amazon exclusive worldwide minus territories that Wakanim streams in. It seems that it is just on Amazon in Japan. Amazon either goes for worldwide rights or Japan only rights. I don't know why Anime News Network said that. Also, they did say that it will be available for free members and we don't have the start date since there hasn't been an announced start date in Japan yet.

so this mean this will only be streamed to european countries ? or does crunchyroll or somebody else plans to stream it to the us ? find it strange that amazon is only going to simulcast this in japan on prime, or if this is not getting simulcasted to north america . the show is pretty hyped by alot of people, would make no sense to not do a worldwide simulcast.

It will, but it if Aniplex of America licenses it, that means it will probably be on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu.

The further on the manga goes the more I'm like "Man, that first arc was good and MAN, do I feel bad for everyone who wants to watch past that!" Like there's definitely worse things the series could have became, but it's just the feeling of "This is going to be so good and then it's going to fall apart so hard", lol!

I wonder why not Funimation. Also is this the first time a Noitamina show hasnt been an Amazon Prime Exclusive since the contract a few years ago? Even A-1 studios/Aniplex produced stuff like Love is Hard for Otaku ans How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Season 2 were Amazon exclusives

Something that I’ve suspected ever since Wakanim got the rights in France, It’s possible that Amazon’s worldwide exclusivity agreement with Noitamina is finally over.

I’m really excited for January now. The animation looks great from what I’ve seen.

It's actually closer to something like Death Note with a lot of strategic planning and psychological moves, at least, in the first arc. Eventually, the series just sort-of becomes something else completely, though, and it's not really as good from that point on.
