Does anyone else have problem with VRV Android app?

None of the Crunchyroll and Funimation titles are streaming. Downloading to watch offline works.

This is for Android app.

Android TV app on Nvidia Shield and web browser still works.

Thanks.

I quit trying and uninstalled mine some time ago because of this. Even though downloaded vids would play, the subtitles didn't, so that is effectively useless to me.

It may be something to do with the processor capability. Mine is an older Kindle that I had to root and put cyanogenmod on (giving me 5.1.1) because Amazon doesn't upgrade their OS once the hardware gets to a certain age. (It was still stuck on some pre- KitKat level, so CR didn't work natively).

I speculate the poor old thing is just not powerful enough to play the VRV app now, or maybe even that 5.1.1 isn't a new enough version to use it. It used to work before the download option version was released. Others have reported being able to on newer devices though.

The CR android app still works for me, but it hasn't been updated to do downloads. I'm actually afraid of if/when that ever happens because of this VRV experience...

Well, in that case, you probably should put in a support request there:

Yes I had this same thing happen.

I accidentally used the wrong username and password and the app kept the information stuck in, without letting me reset.

Even after I deleted the app and redownloaded it kept the bad information in as the app data was backed up for convenience.

Finally I realized that I could clear the data from the app manually, I went to the app information (Google pixel 2 XL press band hold the app then tap get info) and cleared the data, after opening the app again I finally had the chance to login properly and use the app.

I know it's been a while since this was posted but thought it may help others :)

Hope this helps!
