Sorry I'm not Gay.

It would be good for Gay people though.

Straight people are so out of touch with reality. We need help, and we need it fast, the world is leaving us behind.

same sex beaches is a Sin

If you are a straight dude going to beach day with just men, A- Question your sexuality, or B- maybe you just like a game of beach volleyball.

but beach volley ball is much better with both male and female.

So going back to my first statement.

Same sex beaches is a Sin

amusing that right-wingers want to force everone to be assimilated/forced to have their values, But then when they feel that their own values are attacked they scream about oppression

TFW when anti-sexism is a 'right wing value'.

OP says nothing about wings; that's your own biases bleeding through.

Anyway, so it's OK to have a sexist beach so long as there are other beaches for the other gender ---which are separate but equal? Kind of like it's OK for there to be white only bathrooms, so long as there are bathrooms blacks can use?

I mean, what if that beach is the only one near my house that I can walk to, not having a car, and can't use it that day because I'm the wrong, filthy evil sex?

That just means a specific kind of mentally ill person, so reality still matters, I think.

Nor do I think the average person who isn't foaming at the mouth over Sharia law on a website literally called "moonbattery.com" would care much.

More ad hominems, I see; because it's not the action thats right or wrong: it's the identity of the person doing it.

It's wrong to link to news websites that include commentary you disapprove of, because .....?

its not the same thing, washrooms are a necessity, the choice of what beach you go to is a luxury so therefor everything is ok.
(Also its only on certain days to allow them to practice their culture its not oppressing anyone, the reverse is also true they themselves cant go to the beach on certain day's either. But not having a few days separate would be oppressing them if they could only go while breaking their taboos)

You're telling me, with a straight face while reading a website named "moonbattery" and an article that contains lines like "With moonbats in control", that you have absolutely no idea what the term means? You just happened to stumble across this website in your blissful nativity and didn't ask any questions?

OK so you would say its ok for institutional sexism on public spaces if:

- it's only on certain days
- use of the space is not an absolute necessity

If that's the case, what about racism? Would 'whites only' days at the beach be OK if it meets that criteria?

I linked to the site, yes, and I shared it, yes... and the thing wrong with this is? C'mon. If it's so obvious you should be able to elucidate, not stall like this. What, precisely, is wrong with linking to the site? I mean, besides the author using jargon of which you disapprove. I mean, it's like "the guy pointing out that sexism gets a pass because it's for the sake of Muslims is 'right wing', therefore, opposing sexism is now a right wing thing!" -- does not make sense to me.

Pretty much.

OK. So, how many days a year would it have to happen for it to become wrong? What if, instead of a bathroom, it was a basketball court, or a water fountain? Who decides what is 'a necessity'.

Good questions, ones I don't think anyone on this forum is equipped to answer. Which is why, again, I'd prefer to leave it to New York's HRC to figure out.

Considering that after reading your source, my reflexive response was to find another source that was more forthcoming with information about the issue, and less forthcoming with attempts to stir up outrage, I'd say you're doing a terrible job of hiding your bias and intent behind posting this thread.
