Ok so before I start, I want to clear something up. It is definitely not my internet connection or the hardware I have. My internet speed is attached, (73mbps or around 10mb/s) , and the hardware I watch my anime on is a Ryzen 3 1300x and a GTX1050ti. But for me recently at 1080p the videos keep freezing. Sometimes I will have a brief period of luck and the one episode will play flawlessly, but most of the time the episode after will not. It never used to be like this till about a week ago. I just wanted to ask if anyone else was having problems like this? Is it just me? Is it the Crunchyroll website? I have tried the windows app. But anyone who has used it knows it crashes frequently and it still doesn't playback well. Any help?

RIGHT HERE~

Been having the same issues ever since the maintenance last week occurred. Which is funny cuz it was supposed to be an upgrade so they could accomodate more users. Instead I get laggy videos and a screwed up forum. And just like before the maintenance I couldn't use the site on Saturday, I kept getting the error page for a great part of the day.

It ain't cause of my rig or internet speed either.

(WARNING: Sarcasm ahead)
Good Job CR~

`p.s. sorry I can't help you

Well sorry to repeat what I had posted but last Saturday I have trouble watching Crunchyroll on my Samsung Glaxay Tab E tablet, and I complain about it and then (look down here):

Customer Service: If you are using our app on a device:
1. On your device: clear your cache and delete any Crunchyroll app data
2. Uninstall the app from the device
3. From your web browser: go to (https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct/?action=devices)
4. Click Unlink and Deactivate on any rows related to the device
5. On your device reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
Regards,
Miyagi
Customer Service

Me: Sounds confusing to me I don't follow instructions well and what's cache?

Like should I uninstall the app and register my tablet from the computer? I tried every number I found on my tablet's box but it always said "invalid registration code"

if you go into your setting you should have an app or application settings bar. on this you can view all your apps which are installed if you go down and find crunchyroll and click on it you should see a box which will clear all the cached data.this is what i have an all my devices. worth a try.

I can't seem to watch anything suddenly (since yesterday) on my Roku device without it stopping or trying to load 40x's during a single episode. I never used to have this problem! This is frustrating to the point of making me want to give up on trying to watch.

Been happening today and yesterday (not Wednesday though) this week. I have no idea why. Hinamatsuri played perfectly while series like Lostorage doesn't even load.

Same for me, the problem with the buffering of the videos started about a week ago (a couple of days before the big site maintenance). It worked fine up until then.

Steaming speed has been crappy for me the last 2-3 weeks and today it's brutal.

Even looking at the network activity with the browser developer tools, the file sections are getting 504 timeout errors.

Otherwise it's downloading the video sections at too great a delay between each file for the actual size of the files so for 25 minutes I end up spending around 40 minutes in total. Put another way, I download 20 seconds of video, the next section starts downloading 30 seconds later.

My internet speed is about 80mbps, I have a high end gaming desktop, the issue is definitely not on my end.

I love Crunchyroll, I'm going to continue to support it but the consistency in terms of streaming is subpar at best which is a damn shame.

I have Google Fiber and I still have those issues. So yeah, I agree with everyone else, it's CR's end not ours.

Let me tag on i've been having similar issues like it will show the exclusive video for me text and take like 10-15 mins to actually play anything if left alone and will play a few mins or a whole ep and then repeat, 'sometimes' turning off subs and back on works, checked my ping, double checked playing online games with no lag, isn't my rig even though it is a bit old now, as it sometimes works fine for the whole night and other days every ep has to be watched in 2-3 min increments, not exactly premium streaming XD

I'm using Firestick and after I log in I get a message that there is a problem and the app is restarting. I never get any farther.

I just tried the uninstall, deactivate and reinstall that CS suggested - doesn't work.

Having trouble suddenly since last weekend. On the main website using windows and firefox. Premium member.

It has not done this before. Incidentally, I use noscript, and only recently (i..e.) last weekend) did I need to whitelist a new thing: vrv.co. Since I am premium I of course don't have to worry about blocking or allowing ads before a video plays, and I had basically allowed stuff until it worked. I have not needed to whitelist a new domain here for years to watch stuff.

This vrv.co may be a new server? Unfortunately, it sucks. Need to buffer every few minutes. I will give them a couple weeks to fix their system. Otherwise? I will leave Crunchyroll and take my money elsewhere.

Crunchyroll added a delay to their player when you request a new chunk of data (i.e. clicking on a different spot in the video or skipping an opening). Don't worry, it is not your internet or browser, it is the video player update.

I also am having this issue, I have 150mb/s with a gtx 750 TI, I've been having this issue for a few weeks where the video just stops to load, sometimes only 3-4 times other times 9+ times. It also happens on my girlfriends computer.
