Hmm... that's worrisome, and really makes me wish that already wrapped up Gray's floor.
Floor B1 is literally the floor I've been anticipating the most so I really wouldn't want that, as well
as the ending, to get cut short or moved to an Amazon-exclusive episode...

Episode 11

In the end, Rachel convinced the priest that she's not a witch, and she got the medicine as she wanted, all while she calls Zack her God. After giving him the medicine, Zack is back to being himself again, all while more light is shed on his past. Pretty much, this episode goes to show that Rachel holds Zack in high regard, and she's determined to die by his hands, but seeing that God hates lairs that she's in an awkward position.

> You are my God, Zack.

I think it's pretty much clear that he and Rachel are going to be inseperable by now. I still don't like that creepy priest much. The things he was saying to Rachel felt like twisted words.

Idk how to feel about Zack at this point but we did find out even more about him.

I really regret not dropping this series earlier. I'd do it now except I actually do want to find out what the friggin' deal behind all this is. And, of course, just for extra torture it HAS to be 16 eppies long instead of 12. I really find each episode a slog. Zack and Rachel take 10 minutes to have a conversation that any other couple could take care of in 30 seconds. So repetitive. Anyway, looks like we'll finally get some insight into "Rachel's" past next week... unless they find a way to drag that out, too.

I put Rachel's name in quotes because I'm still liking my theory that she is a creation of Zack's mind and that "killing" her is an exercise in killing his own homicidal impulses. The things I interpreted as proof of that this eppie include finding out that Zack has been burned in the past... I don't believe we ever knew that before. We saw that "Rachel" went through an illusory trial of fire. Second, Rachel now calls Zack her God which makes sense if she is a mental creation of his. Yeah, basically hanging in with this show to see if my theory is correct. No spoilers please from anybody who has played the game.

Wait, it's 16 episodes??? WUT?!?!?

I mean, I'm enjoying the show despite its problems, but one of the biggest things this show's messing up is the pacing. Why would you bring everything to a snail-speed slog and then go out of your way to give it an extended season? That's so weird!

Jeez....

Oh, also this:

Grey: "You intend to sacrifice Zack"
Me: "When the eff was that part of the plan?! She helps him get out, he kills her. That's the deal. What 'sacrifice' could Zack possibly be making with this plan that he actively wants to go through with?"

In before next episode where Rachel's just going to probably be like "I really was just using everyone and I intended to kill him all along", lol. "I never intended to leave any witnesses to my first kill and you happened to see it in this backstory room."

Honestly? We're actually at the end here. It should only take like, 2 episodes at most,
especially since the last few episodes are supposed to be the build up to the climax.
So I honestly don't understand why the heck it took so long to finish Gray's floor. We should've
already started on floor B1 last week, tbfh!!! That maze thing on episode 10 didn't exist in the game,
and it honestly shouldn't have existed in the first place considering how much of a time-waster it is.

Like it was a "They drew out what was supposed to be like, a 5 minute walk through a straight hallway
and a single puzzle into an entire goddamn maze episode
" kind of time-waster. Why did they do that I have
no idea.

I'm pretty sure the rest of the episodes are OVAs giving backstory for the floormasters that wasn't covered
in the anime, considering that they plan to post the rest of the episodes as Amazon exclusives and there's
side-stories in the manga.

It should NOT have to take the rest of the 16 episodes to finish the dang story. But honestly, if it doesn't
end by, let's say episode 13? It is a perfectly acceptable time to riot.

Episode 12

Rachel gets trapped in a room with Danny, and Zack can't get in. So in finding another way in, he falls into a bunch of traps set around the place. He gets saved by that priest guy, who is there to make an angel out of him, but that doesn't exactly fit him. He tells Zack how to get into the room Danny is in, and what he needs is the plate. And after picking up the plate, Zack learns the truth about Rachel in that she apparently killed her parents. That was quite a shocking truth.

So with that, the TV broadcast is over and if I read things correctly, the final four episodes are going to be an ONA with the next episode coming in two weeks.

That priest is so talkative....

Although I guess it's understandable considering his character's role from this week's episode. The revelation of Rachel may be explored in depth soon so I kinda look forward to that. Really wonder how they'll conclude the series with 4 more episodes left.

so i just checked briefly and the music box in the anime isn't the same song as the one from the game {which was actually a really nice melody}. it sounds really close to music i've heard from some of my favorite anime, so it must be the production company's take on it which is fair enough.
for everyone complaining about the anime pacing, i really feel sorry they don't have patience or appreciation for the certain type of theater style of purposefully subjecting the audience to repetition.. i have to say the manga easily had the best pacing though with backstories all in good placement.. i personally get a bit impatient with the series, having gone and played the game after seeing some episodes and really liking both. i feel they rushed some things and dragged other things out for whatever reason. overall i don't see it as some sort of "oh, i should have quit this anime"
the manga and game didn't have "where zack got his knife" backstory, so that was really fun to watch. the manga is still ongoing and i think the anime has caught up to it. there is also a second manga prequel series. seeing how the anime skipped some of the characters backstories and the previously mentioned projects, it could explain the pacing and how the anime is close to the story end with supposedly 4 more episodes. i can honestly see them stretching it out but maybe having an extra to promo the prequel

It's not only going to be on Amazon is it? I hope Crunchyroll finishes airing it, I'd like to see the end.

If that's all we're going to see here of this series, my opinion of it is going to tank hard. It just trails off to nowhere.
