Episode 2

Hm. Well my prediction on the episode ending on Zack encountering B5's floor master was correct, but I
actually expected it to end on the floor master leaving, actually.

Ironically I felt that this episode was a liiiittle too slow. I was hoping to have half of the floor done by this
episode but counting now, it looks like they'll spend at least... maybe three episodes per floor?
(B4: ep. 2-4, B3: ep 5-7, B2: 8-10, B1: 11-13) Which sounds about right since I heard that the last three
episodes will only be posted on the internet and are probably side stories that weren't in the game (don't quote
me on this). Looks like a decent enough pacing, but I personally disliked B4 in the game as it is, so I guess I'm
impatient.

I guess exposition dump episodes usually are rather lackluster in comparison, so I can't really judge too much.
It was an overall decent episode, though we've barely gotten through 1/3 of B4's progress.
I think the comedic timing could've used more work. Like, the grave-smashing segment could've flipped back
and forth between Zack and Ray a bit more, for example instead of mostly focusing on Zack. (Because come
on there is no way you can make Zack look cool while he's smashing graves for shits and giggles like the dumbass
he is, save the action scene budget for the important parts!)

I also wondered why Rachel was cutoff while she was reading Zack's file. Though thinking about it, I guess in the
long run, it's not really necessary to know much about the details of Zack's serial murderer career now.

Also that!! Opening theme!! I.... actually don't know if it suits it much! Maybe I'm still bitter because we didn't get
a violin dubstep like in the game. But I get that we got an energetic sounding song since the show is honestly more
of a thriller show than an actual horror. Plus the song itself isn't bad, I've always liked Jin-p's songs. I guess I was
hoping a bit too much for him to be more experimental with the opening theme but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The animation
itself was a fun watch, and it had a lot of nods to events to come! though i noticed it recycled footage from the ED
theme though? so i'm hoping that's just placeholder for later scenes in the anime to avoid spoilers and this isn't the
final version ;;

Nobuhiko Okamoto is working that whacked character style so well – without him as Zack's CV, I don't think I'd enjoy this show half as much.

From my understanding after watching 2 episodes, seems to be some type of game and getting the key clears each stage. So each stage, does Rachel find more information about herself and Isaac?

Just finished the game last night; I'm definitely interested in seeing some of these later floors animated.

And Zack's laugh is kind of irritating, but it also just fits so well that I can't hate it.

Yeah, I was also expecting them to get a little farther in this episode. Although, I still think they could wrap it up next episode. Outside of a little backstory for the main duo and the oath, there's really not a lot of important stuff in B4 (at least imo).

Plus, I agree that B4 and it's master are easily the least interesting of the lot, so I'd also prefer to be done with it as soon as possible.

Pretty much, although it's more information about Ray than Zack. Zack is a... pretty straightforward character. As long as you know he's a psycho-killer, that's really all you need tbh.

Still not entirely sure what to think of this show. I am watching it because I have heard really good things about the game and given that the game is a RPGMaker game; that seems like fairly high praise as far as the story is concerned. Thus far, its been fairly vague but entertaining. Hopefully things solidify into something more coherent.

Two episodes and it still has my attention. Will it go the full 12?

Eh, I'm still not really getting any actual horror out of this. Maybe that's intentional but it's coming across far more as comedy than anything approaching scary. And Zack is just annoying.

This show is losing me, next episode better be a real winner or it gets dropped. Zack is just plain dumb "ahhahahaha I'm a psycho killer who's gonna kill you for no reason hahahaha", " i want to die", "oh well then forget it " Yeah psycho killers don't have rational conversations they just indiscriminately kill, even if you want to die. He's about as scary spoiled milk.

I honestly had no expectations for this show to begin with, so I am pleasantly surprised that I have been enjoying all of the episodes so far.

I'm not completely disinterested yet from the mystery elements, but spending an entire episode looking for a button while lights flicker with creepy kid giggles was petty dull.

This is a comedy show isn't it, if not Zack makes no sense whatsoever
