Red Blood Cell at least has the fact that her boyfriend can follow her around to make sure that she doesn't get interrupted during her job while still doing his job, because she's so unfortunate that she's often the first to encounter foreign invaders.

White Cell looking out for his girl.

Really cute and enjoyable breather of an episode after the previous two weeks.

I sense a Fruit of Grisaia type origin story for Killer T next week

Episode 8 best episode!

So much to love about this episode, my favorite bit hands down having to be him listening to her enthusiastically at the end.

Red Blood Cell reminds me so much of Italy.

Episode 9

And now, another episode set that happens during healthy times as it's about the T cells working to strengthen the body's immunity system. They go through a ton of training in the thymus, and those two guys in the Killer T and Helper T trained like crazy. Then came the big test of selection to see how strong they are, a test where they need to identify the healthy cells from the malicious ones in a vision-obscured environment. The would-be Killer T passed through dumb luck in the end as his confidence wasn't up to par, but his friend really helped him out there. That was pretty insightful learning about how T cells get promoted. Next time, it's back to busting another disease as staph infection is coming.

Episode 9

That was great. We got to see how T-cells train themselves to fight for the body.

I'm really pleased how realistic the training looked. Definitely impressed by how the creators were able to make this look real as it can be. Also, the amount of human personalities they added to the characters impressed me too.

Great stuff. It's kinda refreshing to see an episode that doesn't feature Red Blood Cells.

I loved how creative those trick-pathogen boards were at the end

Those cells do more exercise in 20 mins than I have done in my entire lifetime!
And that Dendritic cell has wayyyy too much time with that camera.

Next week's Staphylococcus aureus is a pretty common infection iirc.

I didn't really like this episode. It wasn't as informative as i would've liked.
If you were to ask me what makes a t-cell become a helper or regulatory t-cell? I dunno.
What is a situation where a regulatory t-cell has to do some...regulating? I dunno.
i suppose there may be a future episode on these concepts, but the emphasis on metaphorical training nonsense, plus the fact i just don't care much for killer t-cell, didn't endear this episode to me.

Didn't the staphylococcus oujo-sama show up already in episode 2? Is this the revenge of the oujo-samas?

I quite enjoyed that Cells at Work episode. I like when shows with ensemble casts of characters take tiem to devote to "side" characters and such
it was pretty funny at the end too

You question how old Macrophage is, but not how old Dendrite is, when he's obviously a vampire wood elf.

Regulatory T-Cell obviously knows on what sides of the bed her bread is buttered on, though.
