Hopefully we get Railgun 3 or Accelerator in Spring, rather than both at the same time.

Aside from maybe some shorts all spring shows are probably announced by now. The first shows will be starting in a couple weeks and everything basically has a air date now.

Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia sound good.

I wish we could get another season of:

Gate
Overlord
Saga of Tanya the Evil
Goblin Slayer

yeah, season 3 of gate simply because it was fun to watch.. it didn’t seem like it had a ton of story to get into unfortunately

i’m also looking forward to fruits basket to see if they can vindicate the train wreck that was its original run.. someone suggested the manga awhile back and although i think it went on for Many issues more than it had to ( though i read the writers addition and she would write funny things in the margin sometimes so good for her getting published ) i really enjoyed the core story.. i Really don’t get all the comments about people zzz ‘crying’ over it though, but yeah..

Railgun 3 or Accelerator in Spring

#1 The Spring season shows are pretty much secured and they have not been announced for those 2

# 2 Also since the CR / FUNI deal is over its more than likely those 2 wiil air on Funimation as the earlier Raildex seasons have before / Also INDEX 1 and 2 have been removed and now are Funi only

# 1 Saga of Tanya the Evil sequel was a just released anime film

# 2 Attack on Titan wiil be this Spring and air on Funimation only acoording to this article

Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2's English-Subtitled Trailer Streamed / 2nd part of 3rd season premieres on Funimation this spring

# 3 My Hero Academia S4 will air in Fall 2019 / Since season 1 was removed and back to Funimation I am guessing S4 wiil be on Funimation only ?

My Hero Academia Anime Season 4 Reveals October Premiere, 1st Visual

This was to be my original post Neither CR or Funi have their Spring Schedules up yet and it getting very late to the new debuts
The past few sesons were at least set up a month early guees more fallout from the CR / Funi split

They never said it would be Funimaiton only, I've never seen a split cour series have one cour on one service but not the other.

They never said it would be Funimaiton only, I've never seen a split cour series have one cour on one service but not the other.

I am not sure which shows you are ?? so I will try to make it clearer / you have to remember the CR / Funi partnership is over -Some anime had to be honored / finished but that is all done now

Only S3 of A Certain Magical Index is on since FUNI took back S 1 and 2 See for yourself

https://www.crunchyroll.com/a-certain-magical-index

and for A Certain Scientific Railgun CR had to give that back too!
So it would seem Railgun 3 or Accelerator would be on Funimation only

For My Hero Academia CR still has Seasons 2 and 3 that was the CR /Funi deal they had to give back S1 / now since the deal was dissolved in Nov 2018 CR / Funi probally had to honor S2 / S3 since it was in writing but anything after that is up in the air

https://www.crunchyroll.com/my-hero-academia

Now for AOT CR has only S3 part 1 which is completed

https://www.crunchyroll.com/attack-on-titan

If you looked at the ANN article it says " Funimation has acquired the home entertainment, video on demand, and broadcast rights of the series in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand."

It seems clear that CR wont get this I could be wrong but the split was kinda nasty from what I read

Nothing is set in stone for anime nowadays / but for those shows I mentioned Funi has a long relationship with them

That's how I have understood it too. S3 will be honored, but S4 probably will not happen on both platforms. Primarily because the break for S3 was unanticipated. The contract was for all of S3, so logically it should still be covered. It would difficult to see Crunchy not lawyering up to have that honored for such a big ticket item.

I really don't look forward to watching it on Funimation if it winds up being an exclusive. I've watched all of Funi's catalog that was worth. And back when they got exclusives and were competing with Crunchy, they rarely ever got a series that I was into. I subscribed to them then and I would go whole seasons without watching any of their new shows. Hence, I blew through their old catalog. Maybe with the split Funi will do things better than they did before the partnership. But I am not really holding my breath. I do not know how Funi's streaming apps work, because I stream from my PC. However, I can say having recently subscribed and then unsubscribed from Funimation earlier in this year, that they still haven't fixed their awful website. The video stream works fine. But searching for shows or navigating their catalog is simply terrible. They've had years to fix this problem and they have done jack didly. Furthermore, I forgot my password when I resubbed. And their email retrieval was not working. It took days to get it resolved through customer service by email, granted two of those days were over the weekend.

Only Netflix has their lineup Sentai hasnt licensed any shows which then usualyl go to CR

Funi just has AOT the whole season is up in the air as far as Amazon / Hulu / Hdive / CR / Funi

Its kinda scary / frustrating And there wiil be lees shows after a new article at ANN today

Charapedia: Here's The Most Anticipated Anime for Spring 2019

The April premieres took a hit this year but there's still plenty of shows to get excited about. While taking down a fandom monolith like Attack on Titan is no easy feat, Bungo Stray Dogs and Fruits Basket enthusiasts are nothing to sneeze at and ufotable's adaptation of Demon Slayer could turn into a standout hit. What series are you most looking forward to this season? Let us know in the forums and in ANN's own poll!

Gunjou no Magmel is produced by bilibili so probably it won't get a simulcast outside Japan and China like what happened with some anime which are also produced by bilibili.

Funimation just signed a partnership deal with bilibili, so it's looking like they are going to get Magmell of the Sea Blue and Million Arthur since bilibili has been embargoing on international distribution.

It's kinda funny Netflix I hate to admit is actually a much better job of promoting anime / have dates / and actually steaming worldwide for most of their anime

IDK if the huge Anime Japan convention that was just held kinda got in the way of licensing streaming rights

One big deal is stiil no word from Sentai which usually grams rights first then lease to other streaming platforms

Some winter shows have ended and most have only one EP left I do know most Spring titles start around April 4th and thereafter some are in the 3rd wek of April

But this the first time CR / Funi dont even have a list up at all in a long time

A lot of anime TBA's now have a summer or fall 2019 date after Anime Japan
