Anyone reading this one? The final chapter just posted, and I wanted to acknowledge it and post some thoughts.

Spoilers, obviously.

Anyway. This quiet little manga is probably my favorite ever. The characters have become like family to me, and Kouhei is the anime/manga character with whom I most identify. Ending was pitch-perfect, and I'll miss it very much.

I'm not crying, you're crying...

EDIT: As of chapter 56.95 - Very happy to have these extra bits to reach the actual ending.

Otherwise, this series brought the onion-cutting ninjas out as it always does, right up to the very end. It's been a pleasure.

I’m conflicted as to whether I should buy the remaining chapters from comixology now or just wait for the print release in November (CR Manga app is garbage)

I love this series and am both sad and happy to see it end. The end was satisfying, though, so I'm mostly cheerful about it.

I think the 11th volume (released in November) is the final one

So in the end Kotori finally decides to have "hot coffee" with the dude. Canon.
Probably the best way it could have wrapped up.

The ship that didn't sail, even in the end...

Both were aboard, one, not even realising that they'd climbed on, the other, captaining the ship....If either of them care to look outside and realise they were on a ship it'd sail......

This was a very sweet series, and one with what I thought to be a pretty realistic portrayal of parenting placed at the heart of it. The characters have real world problems--but help each other work through them.
