Lately there seems to be a problem streaming in 1080 the video stops and you have to wait a few minutes for it to start again. This only seems to rectify itself when you switch down to a slower bandwidth will you all be addressing this issue in the furture? I sure hope so cause I just love this site for watching my anime. I can tell you that when I watch on Funimation I don't seem to have this problem. Thanks.

I don't like that the quality buttons are gone. A lot of people live in my household and the internet bandwidth is taken up on a regular basis. The quality buttons allowed me to still enjoy my anime without it constantly pausing and loading because I could watch it at 480p quality. Now that it's gone, I can no longer enjoy that luxury. I'll be going back to the old player.

I had the player earlier in the week, now I don't. Anyone able to tell me how to get it back?

From the first post of the thread:

If you have the new video player and wish to switch back to the old version, you will need to go to your browser’s settings/tools option and clear your cookies, then refresh the site. There is a 50% chance the page will load with the old player. If it does not, simply repeat this process until the desired player is loaded.

The user in the last post of the following thread was able to get the new player back after having been reverted to the old player by clearing their history (including cache and cookies) and logging in again.

You can click on the gear to show quality options.

Note that it's currently not possible to set a default quality.

Just started using it tonight and I realized that unlike with the old player, my cursor remains on the screen, which can be kind of distracting unless I move it to the side. Is there any way to make it so that the cursor disappears after a time?

Apparently not at present. I have the same issue with Funimation's Windows 10 app.

The only workaround would be to install a utility on your PC that allows either hiding the mouse cursor on demand or after a period of inactivity (although with the latter, a slight movement of the mouse would cause it to reappear). If your mouse came with custom software, it may also have this function included.

Duuude, I hate when that happens with any video player. It drives me up the wall for some reason. ha.

Dunno if this will help- but you might be able to make your cursor vanish over time in general by changing your computers cursor settings. The option should be listed in " mouse & TouchPad settings". I have mine set so it disappears after a few secs.

What browser is that? On Edge, the gear option is only on Auto.

There's a LOT of problems with the player on MS Edge (ads playing forever, ads playing on top of the dialogue, ads playing whenever). Clearly not a browser of choice for websites even though Microsoft keeps pushing for it and trying to phase out Explorer, lol.

I'm using Chrome on Mac. I'll check the settings out tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

Firefox. I checked out Edge on my end and it's the same as yours with Auto as the only option.

I need to be able to turn off auto-play. Everytime I fall asleep watching a show I have to figure out how many episodes I slept through.
