This issue has been persistent since yesterday and I wish they would revert to the previous player or fix the issue permanently. I'd thought I'd have the issue fixed when it stopped flashing with the cursor and pause symbol, but it's happened on everything I've tried to watch today. I didn't want to have to wait to watch Demon Slayer, but I guess I will until the issue gets fixed.

...once again, shows won't load...y'all need to get with it. You're doing an awful job with bunk players.

Shows are not loading properly with the new player... I have a 50mbps connection and no matter the quality of the video, when I skip and it needs to buffer it doesn't do it, clearly it shows the buffering icon but obviously not loading anything because nothing happens after even 5 minutes, I have to reload the page to be able to keep waching.

How about you bring back english subtitles tho? Some series are lacking them suddenly, like is this because of the changes?

Super annoyed and disappointing, The new player is terrible, its super laggy and constantly loading and it doesn't matter how many times i delete my cookies it wont go back, if it keeps up this way i will be deleting my account, why would i pay for a laggy crappy vid.

I'm having the same problems with the new player on Linux.

The cursor/overlay just won't disappear on full screen mode, and sometimes the buffering doesn't work either.

As many others have said, I'm having the same issue with the cursor/pause icon not disappearing on Firefox. It is quite frustrating. Could Crunchyroll just make a manual option to switch between the old and new player until the bugs are worked out? I think that would allay a lot of the community anger.

Watched episodes aren't getting marked as watched.
Did anyone think to test this before putting it live? Bare minimum QA... At least pretend to be professional.

Videos are appearing in the history section. The episodes aren't moving on to the next unwatched and no orange bar in the queue.

Looks like they are getting around to fixing the bugs.

I'm having the same issue. The player shows what it would if I were to shake the mouse cursor even when I'm not touching the mouse.

I personally don't like how the new player has this big pause/play symbol in the middle of the screen and dims the video whenever the timeline is active. I like to be able to pause and rewind something without the player obscuring part of the center of the screen and altering the colors (due to the dim effect). I really hope the player is updated to be less intrusive on the video soon, since this is making watching anime on Crunchyroll significantly less appealing.

Arrow keys stopped working like 30 min ago.

Just copy youtube ffs. It's not hard to make a not-bad UI.

I'm on Fedora Linux and the new player HAS been just fine! (chrome and igpu can go to hell though for no gpu-accel vid decode).
Win10 hasn't gotten the new player though.... hmmmm...
The new ui has been fine - but the arrow keys did just stop working now so....

SITE BUG REPORT - this showed up almost just as recently but I did start a new series where this would be more noticeable (D in the F).
What ever is keeping track of the video that I just watched (lets say I watched subbed ep 2) seems to attribute the view to the listed #2 video in bottom to top order that the library/"info" page of that series. In some cases this is the dub ep 2 (in say german) not the sub.

This bug DOES AFFECT on the side bar (linking to german dub ep 2 as recently watched), and in the video library/info page (showing that i watched German dub ep 1 and 2).

This bug does NOT AFFECT the "collection-carousel" on the queue page (shows and links to the correct video progression), nor the under video list.

Unfortunately when watching an episode from my queue, after having finished the next episode, it no longer updates and moves on when i go back to my queue, it is still stuck on the same episode i started from since before the new player was initiallized. Example, i was on episode 2 of Lord El-Melloi II, i finished watching up to episode 5 yesterday, except when i went back on today, it puts it back on episode 2 as the next episode to be seen on my queue. This is also persisting with other new anime releases of the week like Dr. Stone

Keyboard arrows are disabled but the overlay hides now on Firefox after a moment instead of flickering constantly.

I appreciate the progress/work being done on Crunchyroll's team's part, still a bit frustrating.
