Updates On the New Crunchyroll Video Player

Ever since the new player, episodes I've watched on PC don't update in the queue. Watched like 6 episodes of My Hero and it says episode 1 is up next. Watching episodes on my phone it updates just fine, only when I watch from my computer does this happen.
Kind of annoying trying to scroll through episodes.

Is your queue updating appropriately? Mine sure is not...and when you have to refresh the page, the video starts over at the beginning not where the episode left off.

It's been doing that to me, too. Not updating my queue on my PC. It's confusing because it makes me think "Wait a second, didn't I just watch that one?".

Glad I'm not the only one having this issue. I noticed the issue last night, I was watching The Rising of the Shield Hero and my queue said episode 7 even though I ended on episode 14 when I got off my computer. I decided it might have been because I skipped the ending and it wasn't auto-playing, so today I watched the entire video and turned on auto-playing. However, it did not work as my queue says I'm still on episode 7 even though I just started episode 16 at the time of writing this comment.

That's a very old post you are responding to, and now that the new player is rolled out permanently for everyone there is no going back to the old player.

Thanks for informing me, I've been wondering about it because I thought they were still in the testing phase as a lot of the features just don't seem to work. Along with the broken episode tracking, I'm not sure why they are just pushing it out to all users.

btw I was referring to the update here: https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2019/10/04/meet-the-new-crunchyroll-web-video-player didn't realize how old that original post was.

So, from what I've seen and gathered here, the problem with the queue not updating properly now that they new video player has been rolled out is already known. When will it be fixed? It's not good for a queue, that's supposed to keep track of where you are, to show incorrect information. Please fix this so that it works like it used to, Crunchyroll. Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to make my suggestion, but I'm a huge fan of the new autoplay feature (it's my fave part of primarily watching on a ps4). But when I'm away from home or stuck on web or the mobile app, it was always a nightmare with no autoplay. Y'all got that working great at least on web now, and I'm thrilled... BUT

it doesn't autoplay between seasons like on the ps4. Once episode 12 runs around, even if there's 12 or tons more, it just stops playing. I rely on crunchyroll to stay playing at night because of my insomnia and current health issues, so... Please do try to fix that soon if you can! I'm sure it's not just me who would appreciate it!

I am trying to watch shows on Google chrome on the website but it will not play with subtitles is there a way to fix this?

Anyone having a problem with subtitles,. They just disappeared. Works well with my phone but not on the Samsung smart TV 7 series. Hope someone can help. Thanks a lot

Whoever thought darkening the video while skipping forward and backwards is an idiot. I hate how the new player keeps the trash hud on the screen for about two seconds before disappearing. We want to see the animation not the overlay ffs
