Major interface changes like this, especially ones made after a long period with no changes (or only minor ones), NEED to be announced and explained. The new queue may suit the viewing habits of some proportion of users, but it has also upset another segment. A news post like "Where Are My Shows? The New Crunchyroll Queue and You" would've gone a long way towards reducing confusion and irritation. Leaving viewers to founder and scroll at random is just bad planning, especially on a service that has been running as long as Crunchyroll with loyal users who've accumulated extensive queues and gotten everything arranged just so on there.

And a suggestion: It'd be nice if series would drop to the back of the queue after I've caught up or completed them. As it is, they just sit there making me scroll further to dig out that old series I've been meaning to watch for ages.

I have to agree with the complaints on the queue. I used to have things in an order that worked for me. My list is a mess now and I have bookmarked so many shows that it's a complete nightmare to sift through.

Manual Sorting should be the default on the queue.

But instead some bonehead though it would be a brilliant idea to remove manual sorting entirely. wtf

Between the new queue looking like it was designed for a 2 year old on a tablet and now being unable to sort things into what I'm watching this season and there not being much I'm interested on CR this season, I'm seriously considering moving my subscription to Funimation.

Another stupid and pointless change they never needed to make that only serves to create an even more aggravating experience. I had everything placed where I wanted it for easy selection and now it is just a gigantic and unsorted mess. What is Crunchyroll even trying to accomplish with this kind of nonsense?

Please Fix The "Queue" list!!! I like to put them in order by date because i have bad O.C.D. and with this new update they just go straight up the list making a mess of everything!!!

Please change the queue back to the way it was a couple days ago. Not being able to manually change the order of the shows I'm watching makes things unnecessarily frustrating.

Horrible choice to change the Que. The browser page looks like a tablet app, if i wanted it to look like this i would install the crunchyroll app (Win10,andriod). As it stands this change will have me ending my service with crunchyroll. The tech advances you are implementing are steps in the wrong direction, and will push people away from your service. IMHO (Then again this may be a push to get us crunchropll users to switch to VRV, This will never happen for me.)

New queue system is borked. Sorting by date added->descending is almost what my queue looked like before, but for some reason it shows this season's shows at the top, and of the four sort options, none of them show my entire queue at once: there's always shows missing. Between ascending/descending combined I can see all of it, but I really shouldn't need to switch sort methods just to see my whole damn queue. That's all on firefox, btw.

Android app shows my entire queue, but there doesn't seem to be any sort options at all; seems to be fixed to date accessed->ascending.

I swear, a lot of tech companies really, really need to start remembering "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Glad to see I'm not the only one that hates the changes, though.

This new queue is terrible. Manual sorting was the best part of the previous system, it allowed me to group together related series (such as A Certain Magical Index, Scientific Railgun, Scientific Accelerator) that I would like to rewatch together, and allowed me to pick what shows sat at the top of my queue instead of just whatever most recently fits into the new automatic sorting. If I wanted to see what was most recently uploaded, I would simply use the 'Recent Uploads' section that already exists.

The system worked perfectly, Crunchyroll tried to fix it for no reason, and broke it in the process. Good initiative, terrible judgement.
