The Player might say 1080p, but I've noticed it is on Automatic despite saying that. The streaming video quality is fluctuating.

Been trying to watch Digimon Universe App Monsters, but half the time the video doesn't load at all and the other half of the time it only loads about a minute's worth of footage before freezing.

And no, it's not on my end because other websites and video players like YouTube work perfectly.

Yes... video player is so broken and seems that they are not addressing the issue, since they have many others to deal with. Makes me wonder if they are inadequately staffed or just incompetent. How the things are as of now im deeply regretting to subscribing again after a while, utter disappointment

Most of the time I have to hit refresh multiple times for the video to even start. Doesn't happen on other sites.

Hey there, did something change recently because I've noticed that some videos sound pretty bass bosted, like noticably. I use pretty good headphones and have A/B'd between Crunchyroll and some other sites, and its not me for sure. Its usually not too big of an issue when theres no music playing, but OP's/ED's and any incidental music sound pretty PHAT in the low end.

Any chance that turning off autoplay feature will be added to PS4 app? I fell asleep one night and like 9 episodes played. The web version seems to remember my autoplay setting but watching on PS4 without this feature is annoying because the skip to the next episode even cuts off last part of the current video. Please fix it.

Me too. It's a DNS issue with their multi-cdn provider, at least in my case. You choose a multi-cdn to reduce issues and improve reliability, but ironically, the provider's own website doesn't even have working video.

I don't know if is because of the new player but the videos from "Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos" and "Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos W" are not working even if thei shuld. Pls can you fix this?

My browser (Chrome) stops a lot and it loses track of the current position. It's super annoying and ruins most of the fun. Is it just me?

Not just you friend. it takes me 40-50 minutes to watch one episode at times when the video freezes frequently. Audio is pretty glitchy too so I have been muting it lately.

When the video freezes I: refresh, start the previous episode of the same series (that works), back to my current video (doesn't work), try another series, (sometimes works), back to my episode (rarely works), go to Queue or episode details or logout or all of the above, or go to the forum to confirm that i'm not alone in these video issues, and try my current episode again (sometimes works)...and repeat when it doesn't work. Or sometimes I quit and don't watch Crunchyroll for a week cause it's not worth the frustration and effort.

Got much worse when covid started in March so I think Crunchyroll needs to invest in more server powaa.

This started to happen to me every episode after I went.. heh.. "Premium". I think it's having an issue with the ad process between normal and premium users.
