I only have Adblock Plus and NoScript so I'm not sure how other add-ons would work.

If you had NoScript and clicked on the icon, a list of domains would show up. You toggle whichever ones you want to allow to get the site working properly.

The following domains are what I need to allow CR's player to work, with "segment.com" being the one needed to make the new player work.

Thx for your help i finally found it -.- iam a little ashamed it was my antivirus. the funny thing was it still blocked it even when i started firefox without the add-ons. only disabling kaspersky protection worked. (data collection was the fault that i couldnt see the player)

thanks anyways for your time and help

I fixed the periodic freezing by allowing dlvr1.net.

Scripts I'm allowing now for functioning:

crunchyroll.com
http://www.crunchyroll.com
https://www.crunchyroll.com (where did this https come from?)
vrv.co
https://dl.v.vrv.co
http://cdn.segment.com
dlvr1.net

I take it back. The video speed can get really bad. So bad, that I can't play at all.

I love the new video player. It's fast, responsive, and doesn't drain nearly as much battery as Flash did.

There are some stuff like hiding cursor in fullscreen that are missing, but overall it's great and I really like the new player.

One personal benefit for me was that, when using the Flash player before, 1080p would constantly stutter and freeze after a few minutes. This new player allows me to watch at 1080p no problem.

I totally agree with the full screen mode thing. It makes no sense to use the option where it will automatically play the next episode because you have to keep putting it back on full screen mode anyway. However, I just checked out the new player and the option to auto play for the next episode is not even available. Would rather keep that option and also keep it in full screen mode between epsiodes.

But at least with the new player, finally a 4 and a half minute video didn't give me any buffering problems!

Ok to everyone having trouble with the stuttering or freezing of the old player being frequent: switch the quality. Worked for me. I do like the new player it just needs more controls

The cursor doesn't get automatically hidden like it does on old player and youtube... It's super annoying, please fix it.

I feel like clicking outside the player should close the menus (settings, etc.)
Also, the mouse pointer should disappear on full screen after a while. It just stays there forever.

I really miss the "next episode" button, and the ability to see what time youre skipping to when you hover over the run-time slider.

My only real issue with the new player (before it reverted back to the flash player) is that I can't set a default video quality for it. I know what my net connection can handle and I dislike having to set the quality myself every time. In case the question comes up as to why I don't just let auto take over and set it on the fly, it's because my internet connection is bad enough that auto/adaptive streaming/whatever you want to call it ping pongs between 480 and 720, which at least to me has a pretty noticeable difference in video quality and I can find it a bit distracting sometimes during scenes with heavy action.
