This is a thread where we compare the power levels of Goku and other in the Sayjin and namic sagas compared to heroes from other comics, manga's and anime. I do the research to find their base level of power and compare them to Dragon ball characters. 'lets see just how strong some of are favorite characters are compared to are favorite villins and Heroes of dbz.

How did I come up with the power level ?

first character we will start with.

Lets do base Hulk power level then world breaker Hulk for wen he is over the top pissed off.

Hulks base power level is a monster power level of 71,428,571,428.6

Comparing Frieza who had a power level of
Frieza (first form)
530,000
Vol. 24, #286

Frieza (second form)
Over 1,000,000
Vol. 25, #296

Frieza (final form; 50%)
60,000,000
Daizenshuu 7

Frieza (final form; 100%)
120,000,000
Daizenshuu 7

SO Hulk vs Frieza..

71,428,571,428.6
120,000,000.0

Hulk is 595+ Times stronger than Frieza.

well that is Hulk who else would you like their power level compared to a dbz charactrer.?

It’s all about technique really. Dark Phoenix can think her opponents into cosmic dust but probably only has a power level of 2. Whereas Saitama can likely destroy the planet if he wanted but can’t fly to reach Frieza. Then the Gurren Lagann mechs that can destroy solar systems. They are immeasurably strong.

I have already looked into flash and found that he him self also has the power to pretty much own everyone in DBZ but that's do to an outside force that fuels his abilities.. his power level would also be very low, but is a similar case to 17 and 18.

That is why scanners are not used in DBZ much anymore.. Because power levels show strength but not skills..... Ki it self that fuels the energy attacks that goku use is all based on strength+control, so it safe to say that in dbz magic was not often a factor.

Yep power levels went out the window the moment androids were introduced, which was the best part of the series if you ask me.

True but it nice to see how others stand up to dragon ball characters.. see how well their skills and powers could complement the z fighters.

Measuring by pure physical strength isn't going to give us much.

There's a reason the Juggernaut wears a hubcap on his head.

I guess you could say all the One Piece, My Hero Academia characters are roughly 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai level of strength. Where Piccolo Jr. could lay waste to an entire city. Then you have you Magi and Seven Deadly Sins characters being a tier above that in my opinion. Vegeta supposedly had the power to destroy Earth from the first time he fought Goku so that already puts them in a league most anime don’t get close to. By the end of Z they should have been able to destroy solar systems but in all honesty we only saw that with Kid Buu and the non-canon Broly.

If we are basing it on physical strength alone you’d be right in that some characters can compete with Dragon Ball ones. But when Ki waves are involved it isn’t fair.

'you do know how their powers work right? final flash is like an object equal to WHAT HE CAN LIFT sent at a target and high speeds. that's how basic Ki attacks work.

Vegeta
18,000 meaning his attack at min was hurling energy at the force of 37800 tons moving at speeds far above speed of sound.. it would wreck earth.. but don't forget its a charged attack meaning using time to build it up he could triple the force of that attack. 'so yes even at that power level he could really do a number on earth.

'you might not know this but power levels are based on the person strength./ Ki was the power to transfer pure strength into a energy like form..

Maybe. Roshi has trouble moving a rock for Goku and Krillin but can completely destroy the moon in canon. It might not be 1:1 but your theory still makes a lot of sense.

Juggernaut wears a special helmet to protect him from mental attacks is what I was referring too. He's near unstoppable physically but that doesn't matter if someone can just crush your mind telepathically. Hence any measure based just on physical strength isn't going to do much save sort of compare similar characters.

I mean, you can sort of compare Goku and the Hulk in an arm wrestling match. But not Goku and Dr Strange.

Do not forget that There is air on the moon in dragon ball and Goku got their as a kid using his power pole. I don't think its mass is the same as are moon. I am betting its much smaller and closer to earth than we think.
Roshi is more at the level of a mountain buster.

Guldo is a good example of that right in dragon ball. He could stop people with higher power levels than him using his mind... The thing is Juggernaut might not even show on the power scale in the scanner, do to his power being from an out side force.. the gem.

That throws another pretty big wrench in the accuracy of potential comparisons then does it not?

well the scouter measures there power levels, it would not detect what is not their natural physical power.vv
