The only thing I really dislike with a passion is the lack of time stamps when trying to jump around. Unless you're going to introduce a netflix like button to skip openings I would love for this to be implemented. Nothing against Anime openings but I would rather just watch the shows than their same 1:30 opening.

Still waiting on the subtitle fixes. I want to be able to pick them in the player and select none as an option.

are the videos still being interrupted every 2 seconds for repeating the same ad 6-8 times in a row?
because you know, we peasants love that.
not just on one or two episodes, but every series. I've resorted to finding videos elsewhere to catch up on favorites. I don't mind ads, to me it's no different from growing up without DVR, run to the kitchen fo a snack or to the bathroom, whatever... but if a video come back on a character says "what was that?!" then I have to sit through 6 ads for a new KIA or whatever( the ads don't even play all the way through, interrupt each other) just to find out what the hell "that" was and then sit through another 8 ads...

This new player is crap, there is no next video button so you have to minimize and select next video or just wait for the video to end completely. I also have many issues with this new player freezing with this infinite loading wheel in the middle of the screen that will not go away. I have a few series I can only watch on the crunchyroll app because of this glitch, and don't get me started on the app, it is even worst than watching through explorer. Constantly freezing and crashing. Like my pappy used to say if it aint broke don't fix it, cause it sure as shit is broken now.

You do realise that Flash is being discontinued and removed completely from browsers by 2020.... and with pretty much 99% of people on here bitching and complaining about Flash, they made the jump to HTML5.

So deal with it and the issues (cause they will get fixed at some point) cause there is no going back

is there any way to skip frame by frame for easier screen capping? ctrl + l/r arrow keys would be a good shortcut for that, or maybe the angle brackets. If there is a shortcut already then I'm just missing it

Not frame by frame, no. But you can grab the bubble on the timeline with your mouse, and move it to a specific time, which is reflected in the elapsed display at lower left, so you might be able to get it within a second to make the amount of pause/play clicking shorter.

The new player is better for me as it's more "stable" than the older flash based player but it's very 'barebones' if you get what I mean...

It makes things very difficult to change the subtitles language if you want to because you need to go into your account page and change the default setting there, for example.

Still can't change what resolution I want to watch in. It stays Auto even when I click 1080p. I know because I've switched between clicking on highest and lowest resolution and there is zero change. If you don't get that fixed, you're gonna have... people... going to pirate websites to watch shit. There's no point to CR if you can't watch in HD

I had to install the Chrome Extension Alternative Player für Crunchyroll. I am watching Ace Attorny and no matter what I tried, I can't get the alternative English subtiles to display in the HTML5 Browser. This Chrome Extension works better than Crunchys own player. It has lots of features missing from the current HTML5 player.
