I have also been experiencing this same error for about 2 days now. I can watch Crunchyroll on my phone or with my Xbox, however on my 3rd gen Apple TV I cannot watch anything. Please help Crunchyroll!

Same issue here. The strange thing is after watching a show on another device. like my Xbox or ipad, CR on Apple TV updates that that episode was viewed. It just refused to play any videos.

I'm still trying to find out if the problem only happens with the older models and not the newer ones with the touch remote. Would be a shame to spend $$ to upgrade it and not work

Same result with AppleTV 2gen, but PlayStation streams ok. 2 Days. Not the first time, but This is the longest for AppleTV to be exclusively kaput that I can remember in awhile.

Hey CR, please, say something! Obviously something is wrong server side. There are tons of clients with problems with the streaming only. The app connects with the server and can read the last video seen, even in other device.

Here’s another older Apple TV model seeing the same as everyone else. Menu, history & the option to resume or star over all work but then the error pops. I was actually watching & got to opening credits when it kicked me back to the queue and nothing has played since. Very reminiscent of the week this past summer. So frustrating

Hi I have the Apple TV 1st gen and I have been encountering this problem for the last few days as well hope there is a fix to this soon! But I don’t know what else to do at this moment?

yeah i hate this issue. the main reason why i even bother paying for a cr subscription is because of apple t.v. its been two days i want my shows back on my big screen. the stupid error message should have been fixed by now. many of my shows new episodes are coming out tomorrow including the final episode this seson of MHA. if this isnt fixed soon i will be forced to cancel my subscription cuz why pay money for a system they havent fixed

I guess CR hates all Apple products cuz I'm having the same issue with my AppleTV 3rd gen. (nothing plays at all) AS WELL AS my MacBook Pro! Damn video player doesn't even load anymore on either Safari or Firefox... I'm so glad my $60 goes to such useful updates 'n shit... *sighs* CRUNCHYROLL, FIX THIS NOW!!!

I’m having the same problem!, Incant believe CR still haven’t given any answer on this..., I mean I’m paying my subscription and still can’t watch it on my tv (just on a Tiny phone screen)
