Episode 2

Rimuru and Veldora have made a pact, and while searching for an exit, he just keeps on getting more and more powerful sucking in all those monsters inside the cave. And then he finally gets out where he gets greeted by a bunch of goblins and unlike in Goblin Slayer, these are guys who are scared and need help as they are being attacked by wolves. So of course, he agrees to help out. This show just keeps on delivering.

Episode 2

I'm definitely getting more used to the slime's voice now. Veldora is still pretty damn amusing to watch with its personality and the way he reacted.

Also got to see the MC demostrate more of its abilities. He even got the name "Rimuru" this episode. I also find the amount of mechanics kinda interesting considering how much he can do as a slime. Also about time we meet some of the other adventurers in the world.

Goblins make their appearances too! We're getting more and more content introduced in this series which I think is cool.

Hope they also expand more on the world building.

Okay so far I love this. Some of the skills parts reminded me of Death March, except, you know, breezy and fun and interesting.

Also, yay for female goblins!

Been reading a bit since the first episode and Names are super important to monsters here and it's an interesting concept to work into a setting (might steal it for my D&D games). Once they start explaining it, the importance of what Rimuru and Veldora becomes a lot more clear.

When did Goblin Slayer get so lighthearted?

I love how happy Veldora was when he got a name. I hope it doesn't take too long for him to return. All these goblins can sense how powerful this slime is. Now Rimuru is the leader of the goblins.

So Slime becomes Rimmer, eats a lot of protein, and takes on the burden of helping a village of goblins with healthy sex lives stay goblins with healthy sex lives.

Bonus that this show's PriCler eventually noticed Rimmer's exit strategy, though it was too late to harem him.

Not as funny as the first episode but still good to watch. Though I admit being somewhat confused as to what exactly happened to Veldora after Rimuru ate him.

as I understand it, some kind of infinite storage while Great Sage studies the barrier looking for a way to break it. Essentially the equivellent of Rimuru's item box I guess

I thought they had established quite firmly that Rimmer has an extradimensional stomach of unlimited holding. More concerning should be his ability to engulf massive objects in one go.

Thanks, that makes sense. Because I was wondering how much of that aura was due to the monster Rimuru had eaten and how much might be due to Veldora, which I still understood to be somewhere inside Rimuru. I still wonder...

As an anime-only that's how I interpreted it too. But not just the monsters and the Shroedinger's Dragon, one way or another it's Veldora's magic because so much had leaked out into the herbs and magicite, which Rimuru since consumed.
