It's interesting enough to give it try. The pupets remind me of something...more than just Sasori from Naruto and stands in JoJo.

She controls it with her fingers...why does she need to yell its name?

Episode 2

Masaru may have escaped one threat, but another one is just around the corner as so many assassins are gunning for his life. That was pretty amusing to see Narumi try and fail to be funny. But now, the situation is serious once again with Eiryo on the attack and hellbent on getting his hands on the fortune. While I'm a bit frustrated by Masaru being the weakling in need of protection, I'm hoping that this serves to develop his character as not doing so means he dies.

I’m relieved that I’m not the only one who finds Masaru annoying

Character development is big with this writer so the sniffling crying kid will grow up by the last cour is my prediction. This plot idea with life size battle puppets feels fresh and new so I like show after 2 episode so far

Shirogane kind of reminds me of Clare from Claymore.

I like the concept but the show isn't grabbing me, doesn't help that I found parts of Ushio to Tora a real slog.

Episode 3:

What an intense episode. I see this show really makes a good case of what these battle puppets can do. Shirogane's skills never ceases to impress me.

Narumi's such a daredvil tbh. I think he sometimes take way more risk anyone else. On the other hand, I like how his relationship wtih Shirogane has grown more that doesn't constantly involve bickering and arguments.

Three episodes now and this show still impresses me.

Episode 3

It didn't take long for Masaru to go from helpless to daring as his no-good uncle tried adopt him with the sole purpose of getting his fortune, but he made a stand by jumping out the window, and now Eiryo will get paid handsomely serving as Masaru's new bodyguard. While Masaru is in a bad situation, the silver lining in all this is a battle royale so that the guys after his fortune are killing each other for it. Seeing how Eiryo was acting honorably that I had a feeling something like this was going to happen.

Episode 4

Very intense and emotional episode! Not just with Masaru covered in blood but also that Shirogane and Narumi ends up being captured.

It gave time to show what Masaru has to accomplish on his own. While I can't say he's a great fighter, he's definitely very determined. Interesting to see more of Shirogan's past again. I think these flashbacks are important to her character as it allows the audience to understand Shirogane more.

Glad to see them reuniting though and as a trio, they're really tough together as a team. Narumi also really earned my respect this episode with the way he protected Masaru.

Episode 4

Damn, that was intense, especially there at the end when Masaru is protected by Narumi's arm, and when the dust settles, that's the only thing left. While the battle is over, Narumi is nowhere to be found, all while Shirogane is banged up, and Eiryo really came through, especially at that moment where Masaru was about to fall for the oldest trick in the book. Masaru sure has grown up there, and hiring Eiryo to get him rich and keep Masaru alive was genius.

Episode 5

Wow, Shirogane looks great in her school uniform. At least Masaru's life is somewhat back to normal but I feel bad that he's getting bullied. Pretty much the exact opposite impression that Shirogane made in her class. So much talent!

One thing I will say though is that Masaru is really brave for being able to show his scars in front of the class. That takes guts.

Shirogane's gym performance was absolutely phenomenal if you ask me.

Episode 5

It's hard to believe that Shirogane is still just a high schooler as she certainly looks grown up and mature, almost like a mother to Masaru. That was an amusing show she put on in gym class going to show that she stands out. That was quite a welcomed change of pace here as this episode was very chill.

I would never bully you because of the "difference" in your beautiful eyes, Shirogane!
