Yes, Funimation has nothing to do with Jojo.

Good thing I finished Noragami's second season a few weeks ago...

Most of Funi's catalogue was unavailable to The Netherlands. If they really can keep shows released in the
past 2 years my queue should be fine.

But it still worries me. Hidive only gets a few new shows each season for us and the past 2 seasons they had nothing I was interested in.
Amazon prime has like 5 titles I'd actually want to see. Netflix has been getting some catalogue from
the old Daisuke but they haven't released the second season of March comes in Like a Lion. Nor the newest season
of Lupin the third... Assuming they have the rights since they have the old seasons, they still don't seem to understand
the Anime audience...

If this breakup means less new titles for Crunchy, I'll probably just watch less Anime.
Pirate sites are nests of viruses and it's too much of a hassle to surf across many different
platforms to find the shows I want to watch anyway.

Specifically in regards to lupin the 3rd, their season labels are weird, particularly before lupin the 3rd part 4. I have no idea whether part 4 and part 5 are on the same license, but I can guarantee part 1-3 are separate licenses originally, though they might be bundled together now. Of course, I'm in the US, so I have no idea who holds the various Lupin the 3rd licenses in the netherlands.

Well I suppose that explains why they have "Castle of Caliostro' and Part 4. Part 5 is no where to be found on legal streaming sites in The Netherlands. Since Netflix only got Castle and part 4 a few months ago, I thought they were preparing for Part 5. But if all series of Lupin are sold separately it could be that no one has the Dutch licence...

If I didn't have a reason to hate Sony before, then now is the time to hate them. Anyone else plan to be a pirate for funimation stuff? I hate paying yearly subscriptions for multiple streaming sites... I'm already subscribed to crunchyroll and amazon prime (planned to get VRV), and Sony wants me to support their anti-consumer practices? Yeah right...

Sure shows that you haven't read the original post...... "Unfortunately, Funimation has decided to go their separate way, and this partnership will be winding down on Friday, November 9th." Nothing to do with AT&T *claps*

the decision may have been a response to ATT buying Time Warner, so in a sense yes, it could be due to ATT.
they did decide to part ways soon after the acquisition, afterall.

what i meant we live in a time where if you are a big corporation you don't want to help out or work together with the other's of course crunchy is going to say funimation pulled out there not going to bring up the fact that its because of who owns the company now at least someone gets it

@sao666 Nothing yet. We can probably assume any Funimation title released before the partnership started is gonna go, either immediately or by a set date. I'd start binging anything you're interested in if I were you.

PERSONALLY I say ENOuGh of this shit. Enough with the STEALTH take downs with NO WARNING. I've been a faithful
paying customer to the bloody company for OVER FIVE bloody years and now they can't even give me a straight answer
on what TITLES are going BYE-BYE and what are staying? What a LOAD of GARBAGE. They KNOW what's not sticking
around ...they should just be honest with the subscriber base and tell them the truth. SONY is being SONY and think's it's
going to rule the Anime World. I'm not angry at CR for Sony acting like a bunch of toolbags. I'm ANGY at CR for giving the
Subscriber base the middle finger and probably squeaking out an annoucement two days before expiration I'm certainly not going
to REWARD SONY by getting my FUNI subscription back ...and I'm going to have to think LONG and HARD about keeping
CRUNCHYROLL if they keep this up. It may be time to KISS ANIME goodbye.
