What do you think about full color mangas?

whould you rather read a full color manga or is black and white better?

I haven't read an entire manga in my life and I would like to read one. I don't know if I should read one that is fully colored or if I shouldn't care about it.

kirara comics have the first few pages in full color, with the rest being in black and white.
full color is preferrable, but im fine with black and white.

Mmmh, I wouldn't seperate by colour to be honest.

There are good stories for both options.

For example, I really enjoy the coloured Noblesse (by Son Jae-Ho and Lee Gwang-Su) and Magician (by Kim Sarae).
Then again for b&w there are awesome manga that you shouldn't miss. I don't know, what you're into but Fullmetal Alchemist is one finished manga that I really recommend to read. For me, it's the best finished manga in existence. Older manga by CLAMP like RG Veda, X 1999 (on hiatus since forever xD), Chobits or Cardcaptor Sakura are nice as well.
One Piece is also really great but that one is still ongoing xD (same goes for e.g. Berserk, D.Gray-Man, Akagami no Shirayukihime or Akatsuki no Yona).

So, to make a long story short, don't decided what to read because of the colouring. It really isn't what makes a story great

I'd prefer no colors for manga, it never really adds much & I am too used to b&w.
For Korean & Chinese webtoons, 100% color.

i usually prefer color but i guess it depends on what it is... for pretty much anything with a lot of action tho i like color a lot better cuz it's much easier for me to see what's going on whereas with mono my brain just kinda blends everything together and it's hard to differentiate shapes sometimes, but maybe that's just me

jojo manga in color is god tier tho, 11/10 must read

I can't think of a single manga that's fully colored (anybody?). Usually the only parts that are colored are cover pages and sometimes a few/all pages in a climactic chapter. So unfortunately if you want to read manga, you have to accept it will be mostly b&w. Reading the releases Crunchyroll has available here will give you a good sense of the mix of color and black & white you'll get when reading manga.

There are exceptions, as others have mentioned. Webtoons.com, the American arm of Naver, publishes (legally!) a mix of Korean and American webcomics, all of which are colored. Occasionally fans color chapters of their favorite manga themselves, which you can find with some effort.

Personally, I'd probably read everything in color if I could, but given that mangaka work with very tight deadlines and heavy workloads as is, I am perfectly happy with black and white.

full color manga are rare, but they do exist. one example from a more mainstream series is ReLIFE:

typically, if the manga is in full color, it will say "フルカラー", which means exactly that - full color.
another example is certain manga serialization of movies - such as the precure movie- manga and the aikatsu movie-manga.

Isn't relife a webcomic though? I think I said it wrong but I was thinking purely print manga when I said I couldn't think of any full color examples. That's pretty awesome about the movie adaptations and the katakana for full color, thanks!
