I posted a while ago, that my anime blog was getting flagged for copyright infringement. Well, I tried to remedy the situation by removing the screenshots, and posting some other pictures instead. Well, before I could fix the problem, my blog was deleted. Actually, all of my blogs were deleted.

To be honest, it was really depressing. For almost two years I've been watching anime, and blogging about it. It's been two years since I've actually sat down, and watched an anime just for fun, instead of blogging about it. However, since it's been deleted, I'm starting to feel better. I'm a novelist first, and foremost, so I turned back to that, and now I'm feeling better about the situation.

The weird thing is, I'm still getting copyright infringement claims on my deleted blog. I'm not sure how that works, but it's ticking me off. I honestly don't feel like my blogs should have been deleted. I don't feel like I should have gotten copyright claims on those as well. I know Japan doesn't have a 'fair use' law, but it's weird how 'reaction videos' are okay, and anime reviews on Youtube are okay, but written blogs are where things cross the line.

I know things aren't easy on Youtube. I'm on that as well, and I've had a strike on my account once simply because I posted a twenty minute play-through.

Still. I would think anime companies would prefer a written blog, with a few screenshots, over videos.

You should check the web archive and see if it has a snapshot: https://archive.org/web/

If nothing else you can recover the work you put into your blog if you don't already have a back up.
