So Gintama's characters are inspired by real life figures in mid to late 19th century Japanese history. However, Hideaki Sorachi aside from the aliens and future tech and stuff like that, deviated from real history in regards to the characters progression and interactions with each other. So I decided to make a video on what exactly Gintama would look like if the characters followed their real life inspirations more closely, and how the complexion of the series changes,
