I can not cancel my membership and it has recurred for 2 months already, i do not know what to do because it is going to recur again tomorrow, i was charged for 2 months and have emailed for a refund but have received no response, i will be taking further action if nothing is done soon.
Everytime i try to cancel it gives me a message saying i can not cancel at this time.

How do you pay: Credit card, iTunes, or PayPal? If via PayPal, you can (and should) turn off the billing at their site. I believe iTunes may also allow the charges to be turned off on their side.

i have paid using credit card, i can not remove the card details nor can i stop the recurring payments. It keeps giving me a message saying that i can not cancel at this time. I have tried contacting them but no response, if and when this gets resolved i am no longer using this service as it caused me stress and is also very agitating. It is also not trustworthy because i know i turned recurring payments off yet it still billed me twice.

That seems odd, as you should have received a not-so-helpful response (possibly automated) right away. Have you checked your spam folder?

It always seemed odd to me that CR doesn't echo such responses to a person's inbox here on CR, as with the exception of people that can't access their account, that would be the best way to assure they received the response.

You could try contacting your card company and see what they advise.


By the way, whether you resubscribe to CR or not (and for others reading this), you might want to investigate this service that allows you to set up and control virtual credit cards (including easily pausing or stopping a card for situations like this):

That means you had a pending charge to your account. It's not possible to cancel if payment was not received yet.
As you are now a free user, I assume your ticket was handled in the meantime?
