I pegged Ray as traitor from early on due to his cynicism - no idea if its true though...

It's going to be interesting seeing people try to figure out who the traitor is because the anime's doing a great job of handling this so far.

Ray does seem like an odd egg, but wouldn't that be too obvious? I mean what a shocker it would be if it were Emma

Could be one of the younger kids. Hey I'll give you some extra food/candy if you tell me what those darn kids are up to! But it our secret!

Phil seems awfully suspicious

It's not really brought up in the anime, but in the manga we do learn at some point (I think before this point in the series) that Phil's scores are apparently pretty high up there among the kids. Not at the main 3's level, but he's definitely smarter than he seems.

There is a reason why Ray acts the way he does but it keeps everyone guessing for the time being... So just hang in there and wait

Anyone else get Nadia Secret of Blue Water vibes from the character designs? These characters could fit right in with that show's.

mmm not sure its similar but its got to be the eyes

but the art of the manga was drawn by Posuka Demizu
http://posuka.iinaa.net/

Her work looks amazing and the manga art is incredible

I find a good Cat and Mouse series is always much more intense than a blood and gore series. I just love this sort of thing

And the next episode is now up as now that the kids know what they are up against in Krone, they have their work cut out.

Episode 4

It turns out that Krone is just a pawn and doesn't trust Isabella. Meanwhile the kids are finding a way to break their tracking devices and get out of this place in ten days seeing that winter is coming. And the truth is being told as the kids being adopted by bad people rather than being food for the demons to get the kids to buy into their reason for escaping. Just when they had things figured out, it turns out that Gilda is a spy working for Isabella as part of a deal to not get shipped off. Lots of drama going on here, and it's all great as those three are always alert and on their toes to think about what might sabotage their escape attempt.

Wasn't expecting that twist at the end. I'm guessing Norman only told Ray about the locations of the ropes to see if one of them would go missing while Ray believes that the other 2 kids knew about them. Although even if he is the traitor, I don't think he's trying to hurt them. Mama would've known about Emma and Norman from the start instead of having to guess.
