impressive deduction, did it take >200 IQ and being "well-versed" in mystery-thriller formula?

because number on mother neck and Krone's flash-backs apparently wasn't obvious enough…

keep up good job of entertaining me otherwise i can't engage in thread because of knowledge what happens from manga

I actually didn't notice that the adults also had numbers on their necks; have we seen that in the show itself? Guess I missed it.

That's not all that surprising; I don't claim to be infallible, or that my statements are definitive. I'm not combing through the show trying to piece everything together. I'm just saying what I think based on my background.

And wait — Krone had flashbacks? I really don't remember that. Are you sure you're not conflating the anime and the manga?

Watching Don and Gilda this episode was giving me goose bumps. But it was really smart with what they did with the key, Don and Gilda. I also do not know how the kids will kill Moma and Sister...

This was possibly the best episode so far apart from the 1st episode. Everyone's schemes are in action now. Don and Gilda- I really was convinced these two were turning into appetizer snacks. Especially Don- wrote him off last episode as a completely hopeless dope, hopelessly addicted to the idea that the farm was a wonderful place to the point of being a danger to everyone else. But the guy really came into his own, he's a very strong character and even more so because he's well aware of his own limitations- and when the truth hinted itself at him he didn't run away from it- he reacted the way an intelligent person would- with rage and sadness, but he figured it out.
Now Ray has got me worried with his shocking reveal to Mom at the end there. It raises the question is he trying to save himself at their expense for real and just buy them time? Don't answer that! I know there's an answer out there but am more than enjoying this without any prior knowledge each episode.
I think Ray is weighing how much he realizes Mom already knows, and feeding her just a little more to satisfy her mind, but in reality I think he's the one who would commit the act and not Norman, anyway. And not with poison, either. Can't wait until Wednesday now.

So, I went through the episodes again, and — the foreshadowing is clearly not a false flag: it was there to hint that something's up with Ray. And while Mom mentions to Krone offhand that her task is easier than acing the tests the kids take, and the show mentions a number for Mom in her conversation with the higher-ups, we have not seen that Mom or Krone have numbers on their necks, and Krone has not had any flashbacks. So come on, flightform; you're a better troll than that. Don't make it boring.

I have no idea what's going to happen, but given that The Promised Neverland has already shown us Ray playing a rather complicated game, I kind of doubt it's so simple as Ray telling them what Norman is up to. Likely Norman is not trying to kill Mom, but he's just gathering the stuff as a distraction — which Ray just fed to Mom.

I'm all caught up and I really enjoy how the show handles such an intricate plot.
The twisted expressions are also a nice touch.

Something tells me Krone will somehow be manipulated by the children, but how that will happen we have yet to see. Given how Ray's been carrying the heaviest burden alone for many years, it'll be disappointing if he's eliminated from the picture early on (and also heartbreaking). It looks like Don and Gilda will also be contributing more to everything (I loved how they handled the key situation), but I feel like Don will get caught because of some rash decision.

I know it's still early days, but this show's great so far.

At first I was nervous with starting this show, but after the first episode I was hooked! Now I'm excited for new updates every week. I'm excited and can't wait to see how this journey ends!
