Which western work would you adapt as an anime?

John Ringo has several series that would be good in anime form -Troy Rising, Black Tide Rising, Legacy of the Aldenata, The Council Wars.
Ok, maybe not Black Tide Rising because of all the nudity. Same reason Robert A. Heinlein's "The Puppet Masters" can not be made.

Mirror's Edge. I'd love to see the stylish city and Faith doing parkour in traditional animation.

I think it would be fun to see an Agatha Christie mystery adapted. Maybe "And Then There Were None" or "Murder on the Orient Express".

FOX's New Girl. Adapted by studio Shaft, the same way they did Nisekoi.

That would be indeed epic to see.

I would love to see an anime that's completely true to the Harry Potter books, with no details left out or changed. I loved the movies, but I didn't like some of the things they left out or changed from the books. And if one could get as many of the original actors as possible to voice the characters along with the OST from the movies (and the computer games too, because those songs are also very good) it would be a dream come true.

On the Pottermore website, there's also a page about an actual Japanese school of magic - https://www.pottermore.com/writing-by-jk-rowling/mahoutokoro. When I first came across that, my first thought was that an anime series which told a new story set at that school could be pretty cool.

Zootopia, in almost the same fashion we had a Lilo & Stitch anime series. I'd like an episodic anime series about Judy and Nick solving cases together as Zootopia's best buddy cop duo. And for all the WildeHopps shippers out there, it should also include an ongoing romantic subplot involving Judy and Nick developing some sort of romance with each other!

I'm not kidding. I go to ZootopiaNewsNetwork.com, the Zootopia subreddit, and DeviantArt a lot. And a ton of fans that I meet online would ship Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde with each other, like they're the second coming of Robin Hood and Maid Marian or The Rescuers' Miss Bianca and Bernard, or some other famous furry couple that I should know of.

Have you actually watched Zootopia yet?

Even though I got too many spoilers to the movie, including who the surprise villain was and how and why he/she represented everything that was wrong with John Lasseter's need to murder the entire iconic Disney Villain brand for the sake of shoehorning surprise villains into everything, even when they don't belong in their respective movies?

I kind of disagree. below the colorful appeal, Zootopia is well inspired as a police mistery, so the villain has no sense being on the open

House of Leaves; it's really the only way the story could be done justice.

It's already been done sort of, but I think an adaptation of the original Halo trilogy would be awesome. I don't think it would work as a live action movie, but with the right people at the helm I think the universe and story has the potential to be an amazing anime film/series
