How does a show, that appears to be new show up with only the middle of the second season available to watch? Wouldnt anyone think, "hey! some things don't make sense, I should watch this from the beginning to understand it." But there is no beginning, hell there's no beginning to the second season let alone the entire first season.

Get it together Crunchyroll! Don't roll out half a damned season without having its backstory available as well!! that's just lazy!!

Apologies for the quick and angry rant but it needed to be said.

Someone else licensed the first season. Simple as that, I imagine. Despite this, I wonder what the heck is up with only having less than half of the second season available to watch.

That's correct. Actually, when the first season aired, nobody licensed it. However Funimation did ending up getting the first season at the same time they got season 2. But, making this slightly weirder, although Funi does have season 1, they have not put all episodes up at once. Episode 1 of Season 1 went up after the first episode of season 2. Currently season 1 episodes are going up one at a time weekly with two episodes currently available with English subs. The dub of season 1 starts tomorrow.

While this can seem to make no sense at all, keep in mind that some viewers will in fact have already watched season 1 through means other than legit sites, so it's not as crazy as it seems to go ahead and start with season 2, especially if one has simply not been able to get season 1. Better something than nothing, and those who have not yet seen season 1 do have the option to wait until it's all up at Funi and watch it there before watching season 2 on either CR or on Funi.

It's less than half of the second season because the second season just started this Spring. What's showing as "Episode 11" is actually the first episode of season 2. The numbering is contiguous from season 1, which only had 10 episodes.
