I really don't know what you are looking for but:

'Little Witch Academia' and 'Aggretsuko' are enjoyable and easy to get into.

'Soul Eater' and 'Fulmetal Alchemist and FMA:Brotherhood' are classic shounen by Bones Studio, if you want action.

'Kill La Kill' Is over the top action, fan service by studio Trigger.

'Violet Evergarden' is probably the most gorgeous anime I have ever scene, that tells the story of a soldier trying to find her place after war writing letters for people.

'Your Lie in April','Anohana', or 'March comes in like a Lion' if you want to cry.

'Ouran High School Host Club' and 'The Disastrous Life of Saki K' are both fun comedy.

'Magi' and 'Code Geass' are both shows I enjoyed personally. I have friends say they really enjoy 'The Seven Deadly Sins'.

Again, I don't know your tastes or what your looking for but I hope this is able to help a little. I haven't seen everything on Netflix, but these are the ones I have seen and enjoyed, and maybe you will too.

Beginner anime isn't exactly something to expect from Netflix.
When it comes to anime, Netflix kinda sucks, mostly due to their slow releases and the fact they don't really have much to offer.
At least not for a few years.
But I would suggest light shows.
Things that aren't too thought provoking or insanely violent.
Because of my country I'm pretty sure the shows available for you are different to the ones for me, but as the others have suggested I would say Little Witch Academia is a decent start.
I haven't watched it yet but Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day should be light enough.
That being said, if violence and/or thought provoking shows interest you my personal favourites are: Black Lagoon, Neon Genesis Evangelion,Code Geass and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.
If they do have Toradora!! for your region (They got rid of it for my region a long time ago) I would also heavily recommend that too.

Most things on Netflix is aimed at the masses.

Shame they don't have Boku no Pico.

I'd say ...

Carole and Tuesday
A Silent Voice (Movie)
The Godzilla Anime Movie Series
Children of the Whales
Expelled From Paradise
The Seven Deadly Sins
Castlevania

I also definitely second ...

Violet Evergarden
Little Witch Academia

Also, ianimegamergirl suggested Magi above which is a fun title and I'd like to add that its' spin-off Sinbad (also a Netflix exclusive) is fun too.

I never really go to Netflix for anime, but I've watched some on there. Some suggestions include:

Sad: Anohana. (It made me cry three times.)
Sad: Your Lie in April.
Romance: Toradora.
Romance: Ouran High School Host Club.
Slice of Life: Girls' Last Tour.
Action: Naruto Shippuden.
Mystery: Case Closed.

There isn't a lot of variety, and I'm not sure if there are different shows for different regions, but I hope it helps!

Not necessarily beginner material, but Netflix does have Fate Zero, several other parts of the fate series, and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. I'd echo Violet Evergreen, though its a pretty intense feels trip as well.

Along with other recommendations, The Devil is a Part-timer is a solid comedy. And Gurren Lagann and Durarara are both classics. Soul Eater is also decent starter shounen, though the anime original ending falls flat.

I honestly don't know what beginner anime even really means. Just watch things that look interesting. Netflix doesn't really have an enormous catalog.

I would recommend watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. I'm not sure if it's a good beginner anime but it was one of the first ones that I watched.
