What are some good beginner Netflix anime ?

One thing to note is that Netflix has the same regional licensing issues as CR. Depending on your country you may not see any of the shows listed here.

I just got done watching Charlotte on Netflix. It's really good and short, so it's easy to pick up.
Other shows I could recommend are Tokyo Ghoul, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Code Geass, Death Note, and The Seven Deadly Sins. They all good to great shows that are all awesome on their own right. You could also try Castlevania, if you consider that anime. |
Ya boy is going to KanpaiCon in Omaha! See you there!

Madoka Magicka! Starts off fluffy and lighthearted before descending rapidly into existentialist dread.
Netflix now has Neon Genesis Evangelion, it's old but good and if you feel up to robot action mixed with philosophising i'd give that a go. For lighthearted, easy to digest Anime... Seven Deadly Sins is nice and formulaic, i've also heard people say good things about Little Witch Academia |

I have to agree with ianimegamergirl on this one. Although, I hate being cliché about the topic, a specific or acquired taste will be helpful. ![]() But all of the above mentioned are good suggestions. Otherwise, we would have to go through every category of anime and pick the best Netflix beginner anime in each one to give you a 'best' list for starters. ![]() |
Guess what! It reciprocated right back at you. (*^∀^)ノ

I guess when you say starter anime, I would have to ask, do you mean for a younger kid or for an adult or teen?
Not sure why some people are being so negative to Netflix, they do have a fairly decent selection of anime. I am sure there are better, but if you already have a Netflix account it is completely reasonable to make use of that resource to watch anime. I will try to give a selection of different anime's I like of different types of categories and let you choose. I won't say "good" animes because what appeals to one person won't appeal to others. Adult (not hentai just deep) - Violet Evergarden - drama Ajin - horror Beastars - anthropomophic drama/romance Garden of Words - drama Miss Hokusai - drama Teen - Knights of Sidonia - action/drama - fantastic fascinating world building Gate - action/drama - I think it's also available on Crunchyroll Castlevania - horror/action Inu-Yasha - comedy/horror/action (by the glorious Rumiko Takahashi) Gantz 0 - action Expelled from Paradise - sci-fi/action/drama Younger - (to be honest I don't watch much that would be in this category so) The Dragon Prince - fantasy/action/comedy .... this has pretty much everything |
