Hi everyone, after watching the anime, I have become a avid reader of the Demon Slayer Manga and am in need of some enlightenment regarding its chronology. My chosen platform to read this particular manga is VIZ Media and on their app the Demon Slayer Manga is missing a large chunk of content from chapter 70 to chapter 139. Am I missing something? Are these missing chapters available for consumption? And if so, where? I would greatly appreciate any understanding that could be imparted from your brain to mine with regard to this conundrum. Thank you in advance!

(As a side note, is this series not one of the best anime/manga ever produced?! Seriously, I would put it up there with Death Note, Attack On Titan, Tokyo Ghoul *manga only*, FMA Brotherhood, etc.)

What happened with Demon Slayer at Viz is that unlike many other series it was added to their Shonen Jump subscription after the series was already well underway, so the current chapters have been added as they publish in Japan (since December 2018) but the earlier chapters are being added in batches over time.

How that works is that Viz is publishing the earlier chapters as volumes and in addition to those being available for separate purchase, they are also added to the "digital vault" where they are available to the Shonen Jump subscribers. The volumes are being published at the rate of one every two months, with the next volume coming on November --so they are getting there, but it will be a while before the gap is completely filled.
