Hi everyone,

what are your favorite rhythm games?
Post below with titles and systems they are for.

Here's my all time favorite:

I also really like Pump it Up (arcade game), Taiko no Tatsujin (arcade&vita), Osu (PC).

Beat Sabre (on Ps4) and Osu (PC) are my fave.
I really miss tap tap revenge & I thought I missed Guitar Hero but I bought the GH Live ver (ps4) and I hate it.
I've never actually been to a real arcade so I've never tried any arcade rhythm games.

I really tried getting into Osu a bunch of times but it never stuck T_T. I have however played a bunch of rhythm games on PS Vita, most being the Hatsune Miku Diva series. They are amazing and I really love playing them. Other than that, I've only played Audiosurf on PC and tried Beat Sabre once. Audiosurf is decent, but not really focused on hitting the notes, it's more about just listening to a song and trying to gather points via its game mechanics (basically just gather blocks of the same color and you get points)

Definitely recommend Hatsune Miku Diva series, if y'all have a PS3 or PS Vita. The prequels are also on the PSP, so there's that.

Funny you mention that I just ordered Project Diva F2 for the Vita, should be arriving tomorrow.

Yeah.... DDR died after the PS2, shame really. Oh well, I still play the heck outta DDR Max, Max 2 and the Extreme games, they're timeless.
Pump It Up has become someone of an addiction of mine, they have one at the local arcade...I've been there multiple times a weeks for a few months now.

Gotta try DJ Max sometime, any suggestions on which one to check out? I have PS1-PS3 and a Vita.

Aww yeah. Get back to me when you've completed all songs on extreme mode haha.
In my opinion, that's the best rhythm game I've ever played!
This was my favourite song from Diva F

EDIT: Low-key wanna start a new play-through. God damnit. Gotta git gud again T_T

Stepmania was awesome, of course.

However, there was this real gem called Rhythm of Fighters on android. It was by SNK. The music was tracks from various SNK arcade tournament fighters. If you did well your character would score hits and dodge attacks. If not, you would miss and get pummeled. Probably my favorite mobile phone game, ever. Sadly, they discontinued it.

Might be a while, finally started playing F2 on normal yesterday, slowly getting better.
Great song, been thinking about picking up Diva F for the PS3 or Vita, but I might just import Future Tone instead so I get most of the PSP songs as well, not sure.
I really like playing most rhythm games on handheld, happy to see that they're bringing a Project Diva game to the Switch.

Now that you mention it I'm pretty sure one of the gaming channels I watched talked about this one before. Yeah definitely sounds like a unique set up, shame they got rid of it.

Oh shit, if it's coming to the Switch then I'd start seriously considering buying it! Then it'll have everything that I want my handheld to have

I'm not good at rhythm games however do enjoy them. All the ones I've played have been on Vita. My favorite is probably Taiko V Version. IA/VT, Persona 4 Dancing and Miku were all really fun too though.
