A feature to automatically move shows to the top when they get a new episode would be great! Or sort by recently updated.


Only if they do it correctly.

It needs to break out by the actual string of episodes being watched. I don't need something to keep popping to the top because they started updating dubs or German translations if i watched the subs!

On the bright side the volume of new shows worth watching has dropped enough that keeping track is easier now :

Between the queue issues, and the Roku app logging me out on a daily basis and forcing me to log back in each time I open it up, you're making it very easy for me not to even remotely regret cancelling my CR subscription after 10+ years.

I’m guessing the update came out cause my app ( iOS )changed completely from yesterday and now I like how the app looks but now I can’t even use it cause I can’t turn on the subtitles, it’s on in my settings but when a video starts there’s no subtitles and in the video there’s a little settings icon in the corner if I tap it it says subtitles off and I can’t turn them on from there so now I can’t even watch a show

Okay yeah, this is getting really annoying... penalizing users for choosing a secure password by making us login EVERY SINGLE TIME we open the Roku app.... now I'm definitely not regretting canceling my CR subscription. Maybe you'll hire some developers and restore some actual user-friendly features that you used to have but inexplicably removed as "improvements"... but at this point it seems like that's completely the least of your concerns. RIP Crunchyroll as a respectable streaming service. As crappy as it is Amazon Prime has my business, simply because I pay for it anyway for free shipping on the rest of my junk. Good luck competing with that when you don't even want to make an effort...

... yup. CR sure is dedicated. Apparently it costs too much to pay someone to type a simple "date" command on linux to set their server's time correctly... that's pathetic.

4+ months radio silence and no improvements made not even the ones that CR claimed needed the new terrible queue system instead of the old reliable one. Geez I'd truly recommend firing the entire PR staff and the tech team cause they are robbing you blind assuming they actually exist and are getting paid. Because it is kind of like they don't exist except to pop up and make something way worse instead of better. Definately glad I cancelled and switched to hulu and funimation I just wish I didn't have to ditch the original anime streaming site.

I never watched in the website so I am not sure what they removed on that end. I use iOS app on my iPad and I am not how to say but it became one of the worse experience to navigate the new app. Nothing really makes sense. Impossível to see the daily new release. The worse is that you still can’t block dubs from mixing with the other anime’s. Come on CR, I am not 10, I can read. I always considered a not so good app before, but you guys made 100 worse. Hope you have an update soon because It is really not usable unless you know what you are looking for.
Do guys at least offer an online class to understand that app?

Can't help you with the dub filter, (there is one, but it doesn't really work like you want it to, just the opposite, in fact)...But for the latest episodes display do the following:

* Open the app
* Along the very bottom, touch the "Browse" icon, which looks like 4 tiny squares arranged in a larger square.
* Now near the top, there is a menu row which defaults to Genres. At the right of that, touch the word "All"
* That brings up some show icons in "Popular" order. To the very right of the word Popular, there are two small icons, touch the one that has three horizontal lines with the longest at the top, and the shortest at the bottom.
* That brings up a Sort choice screen. Touch the radio-button for "Newest", then at bottom touch the orange "Update Sorting" bar that lit up.

You should now see the show icons displayed again, with "Last 24 hours" at the top, and below that in descending order, the rest of the shows with released episodes for the past week. Under that it displays "Earlier".

But it doesn't filter out dubs, unless the show is only available that way. There is a filter icon next to the three bars (sort) icon that sort of looks like two sliders. I get what it does, but it's of limited use. If you choose one or both of the filtering choices, it will then display shows which have those characteristics available. But for show that have all the choices, it won't filter those out. It is a "presence" filter, not an "elimination" filter.

OMG. Thank you so much! That same me from going insane!
The dubs are annoying but I can survive. It is just annoying when you click and hear the dubs or you see a new release of a anime you like just to find out that is not a new season and just another dub version. Thank you again.

Having to input my password over and over in Roku. iPhone app constantly switching to dubbed and having to restart app to get subs back.half the time I try to login with iPhone app forgets the password...I am glad my sub renews tomorrow. Canceled in time before it renewed. Might come back in a few months one you all figure out how to code correctly or might not. Sad to see a good platform for anime shoot themselves in the foot with this update. All the while not letting community know what’s going on. Very bad management

If only they instead focused on STABILIZING their whole app fleet. Still constantly have issues with the app on Amazon fire TV. Have to clear the cache or reinstall the app then relog in each time it happens. Fix the remaining bugs before making new ones!!!!

about those surveys ... never again will I do one after what happened to me; after spending a fair amount of time thinking about the questions and giving relative and constructive answers and stuff, I pressed the submit button and got a message saying

"You must be 13 years or LESS to take part in this survey!"

sheesh ... so ... I'm too old to participate? Regardless of being a paying subscriber? don't I get a say (I think it was about general stuff like quality of streaming, etc, and also the queue). It could have stated from the outset there's an age limit and save me time doing it. Just sayin' NEVER AGAIN will I respond to a CR survey EVER. age discrimination. bleh. my feelings were hurt.
