Updates to the Crunchyroll Queue Experience

I didn't realize there was a thread for this but there we go.

The Crunchyroll Android App is the most unstable, resource hogging, buggy piece of [email protected]#$ I've ever downloaded. It's been broken for years now and has not improved in any way shape or form. It seems to have been cobbled together by flunkies using code sourced from Stack Overflow and other free coding sites.

It is straight up dog [email protected]#$ and it's actually shameful that it hasn't been fixed. Please fix your app!

Now my queue is completely messed up again. It is only showing a fraction of the series I had in my queue and the order looks random since it doesn't reflect date added or last watched. What is going on?

My queue is completely empty all of a sudden. It was fine last night, and now everything is gone. No favorites, nothing :/

Now all the shows I had in queue are gone. Awesome. There were too many for me to remember especially since I have a bad memory. Fix this

I was refreshing, hoping for the latest Attack On Titan to show up...... apparently, my queue completely deleted itself within just the last half hour. This had BETTER be a temporary bug.

seriously this is nuts. my entire queue is entirely gone on the website and a small amount shows on my playstation crunchyroll app. i really hope that i don't have to manually find all the shows i had in it again

Same thing has happened with my queue. All the many shows I had in my queue have disappeared and it now just says "There are no items in your queue". It was fine yesterday.

I was looking forward to catching up today and poof, no queue.

There should be a pinned explanation and timeline for repair by now.

My queue also disappeared, though it worked fine earlier this afternoon. It shows it as blank, telling me to favourite shows to add them to my queue. But it does still show my watch history. This is on both my Apple TV and my phone app. I tried logging out and back in again, I uninstalled the app from my TV (removing all cache data) and then reinstalled it and logged in again. Neither had any effect on my queue, which is still blank. I’m guessing it’s the Crunchyroll servers, either issues or maintenance to address previous issues, or perhaps some new update to the queue that they’re rolling out.

Okay, my queue's back now. Most the shows are missing, but as I refresh, it looks like some of the shows I had on there are gradually returning, so I guess it's in the middle of being fixed.

@Yamato-san Same. Maybe it was just something to do with the latest Attack on Titan episode arriving an hour ago. The site just struggling to keep everything running under the strain of how many people watch it as soon as it arrives? Or maybe Crunchyroll even intentionally mess with people's queues to try to avoid too many people finding it at the same time, haha. Seems too much of a coincidence to not have at least something to do with the new AoT episode. XD

With the latest queue update shows when not viewed from the queue don't show whether they are already on your list or not.
Also the order has gone pppthph again and shows you have already seen/currently watching are at different parts (For example,shows I had originally watched for a few seconds to save my spot at the sub section of the video list is now at the dub section instead) and partially watched series have now been reverted back to their original spot at episode 1.

Wish they would stop messing with the queue and just revert it back to the original non updating order added style.

My queue is all messed up as well. It's empty and then I refresh and there are 2 on it. Then I refresh again and there are 4 and then one more time and it's empty again. The whole interface for this site feels dated. Felt dated when I started years ago. More so now. Just look at other streaming services and it's apparent that they need to do a complete overhaul.
