wtf 1 year later and we still got that shitty queue
what are your devs doing? taking out the good queue shouldn't even be necessary in the first place from a web development view

The new (web) beta has an added feature alongside the queue called crunchylists, where you can create up to 10 custom lists, that you can rename, add shows to, delete and reorder with drag and drop like the old queue. It seems like it would get a bit unwieldy though if you put too much in any of them. I haven't tested any limits, so I'm not sure if there are any.

I believe what the poster is saying is that the new site queue (and other functionality) should have NO effects on the old queue if you are developing to best practices.

Typically when new sites (as well as the databases that populate them) are being built, its in an environment separate to the old one so that functionality is not compromised while you are working. Any work is done in parallel.

But it seems like new site functionality has been pushed through at the expense of the current working site. While I do not agree with the language used, its bad form to strip site functionality and leave it broken for year or more.

Hey. Just a question... how to make a forum? It's been fourteen years since I last opened this account. I want to make some forums to meet new people. Thank you for replying in advance. Sorry for taking a little too much of your time guys.

It's been over a year now. When are we getting the manual sort back?

You guys have a queue? Mine takes two refreshes and an incantation over brewing mint tea to even consider displaying a list of shows. Sometimes they are even shows I added, but that becomes less likely by the day.

“Thanks for all your suggestions and feedback. We really appreciate it. The premium days are active now. Regarding the inbox, the developers have been notified of this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Should we take this at face value? Probably not.

Don’t mind the premium days, they activated it for me because the inbox still isn’t working.

So finally after a year, they have added a sortable list. Now it's time to debate if I should move back to Crunchyroll or not.
Back when I used Crunchyroll, I used the queue to keep track of the anime that I have watched. Now I can finally sort my series again.
Sadly they do have a limit of 100 which I guess makes sense as long as there isn't a list cap(or the list cap is 100)

Actually just managed to compile all the anime I have watched on a different site. tbh, I think allowing for external lists to hook up would help people move back into Crunchyroll.

This probably can be done with allowing series lists to be generated by third party sites. The list would basically have a loading icon in case the external list is taking long to load and allow for lists to be loaded dynamically. The order would be determined by the third party site which you would respond via a webhook that you would enter into in settings (or even in the list creation). All in all, this wouldn't be to much work as allot of the tools have finally been created for such support.

Sadly, I know that Crunchyroll doesn't really look at the forums to much so I might need to submit the suggestion elsewhere.

also thankyou for creating Crunchyroll beta. This is a much better idea to do when testing out new ideas than just removing features without warning. (this notification only happened after the community had an uproar)

I have to agree with you on this, the new site is definitely more driven for mobile devices and tablets. In the old site, it had a list of upcoming shows and when they were going to be released. In this format, it takes an act of Congress to find that feature.

The website keeps getting worse. I can't even op out of the junk beta any more. I don't like using the app and it keeps looking closer too it. If this continues it will force me back in to pirate sites. At least they know how to make a web site.

YOU CAN HAVE SEPARATE MOBILE AND DESKTOP VIEWS. DON'T MAKE THE DESKTOP EXPERIENCE WORSE FOR THE SAKE OF MOBILE CONVENIENCE.

Ahem.

Anyway, the new queue (or "watchlist," rather) doesn't seem to have any way to get directly to the series listing. That was a feature I used regularly, since sometimes I like to go back and rewatch specific episodes of a show that's still in my queue and also sometimes CR gets confused about what I've actually watched..

Edited to add:

What the hell is going on here? For what possible reason would you have the seek bar stretch all across the screen instead of just across the video?

From your watchlist, click on the show title. That takes you to the series page. Once you are on the series page just scroll down to see the episodes.

(Last I tried this won't work for movies or special things that are only one episode long, but it works for all the series with multiple episodes that I've tried it on.)

i hope they fix this, it was a issue in the old site as well and hope they can just link the sub versions to a account settings so we don';t keep getting new updates that are just other languages, i keep falling for this trap and keep forgetting. it really makes it ahrd to tell
