That would explain some of Shinako's hesitation, and the fact that Rikuo almost seemed to be ashamed of a career move anyone else would be really proud of. I do wish Rikuo would grow a pair and call out Shinako on her dithering. She wants him to "push more;" well, in the very first episode he manned up and confessed. The ball's in her court, and if I were Rikuo, I wouldn't even give her the time of day anymore.

If they'd drink with each other instead of their friends they all would have slept with each other already. Then we could have episodes about all their regrets about sleeping with each other, maybe one of them getting knocked up. Hmmm maybe that's really the difference between America and Japan, we have way more drunk chicks.

I'm not fan of Voice Actors, but I was looking foward for more escenes with Kyoko (cafe's owner), with Maaya Sakamoto as VA.

Haru's timing to catch Rikuo at home is off once again, so at the moment Shinako has taken a huge lead. And while Shinako said she wasn't going to attend Fukuda's Christmas party, she shows up anyway. Pretty much, it's a lot of reflection here as there are a number of ways this could go, but right now Shinako has a big edge in this.

Her type of character usually doesn't get much exploration in stories like this one so it's a good movie to show even just a little behind the scenes. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm cheering for her as I'm not even totally sure what that would mean given the context of the show but I definitely do want to see the best for her.

She freaked out about Rikuo coming in to her place too. Like if he did it would automatically lead to them having sex. So this was about both of those.

Rikuo isn't meeting anyone at work, no one else ever hits on Haru? Shinako...well forget her she's hopeless. Let her play pretend widow for the rest of her life. Anyway how does Haru even get back in the picture now? Only 3 more episodes, this is going to end annoyingly.
