Hayasaka is a god. Glad she's getting more screen time this season.

I got the impression that Hayasaka was actually starting to fall for President herself and it hurt to know she had to stop

Another fantastic episode, Hayasaka didn't lose because she couldn't ever win and that's how it should be.

Miyuki gets a win for staying true

But the greatest and most unexpected win goes to Kaguya for getting to hear...

I took that as her feeling frustrated and humiliated after working so hard to lower herself to the level of a flirty air-headed highschool girl, only to fail anyway.

She really has her finger on the pulse of what students demand.

Best episode of the second season, the Hayasaka stuff was great, even if the pres doesn't realize she's best girl (watching animals crushed in a press? I'm in love ), the "confession" was hilarious, and finally the introduction of the pres' rival was great, she's cute.

That was a huge facepalm moment for me. This is not an isolated incident either. I was watching Robotics Notes a few weeks ago and had to pause and go to google translate to translate text which the viewer was meant to read.

Yeah, this was a great episode, maybe the best of the season 1 and 2. Haysaka really is the best. When she was crying about being rejected I almost thought she did fall for Miyuki. Her expression when she brought Miyuki into the classroom was the best.

I kind of wonder what she would have done if Miyuki agreed to go out with her.

BTW, I have gone down the rabbit hole of watching things crushed in a machine press too. Also watching things super headed with a blow torch

Did you watch Eizouken last season? Many (most?) episodes had an unbelievable amount of text on screen in at least one or two sequences and CR translated every bit of it. It was some god-tier subtitle work.

The other thing that bothers me about Funi's sub is that whenever they DO translate printed text on the screen, they place it in the same area and use the same font as the dialogue subs. Very disappointing. CR matches the color, size and location in the frame.

that was the only plus of the Funimation-Crunchyroll Partnership....the subtitles were done by Crunchyroll which does subtitles so much better.

I don't think she watches animals crushed. At least I hope not. There was just an unfortunate visual juxtaposition.

Oh geez, that face..

On the other hand, I'm really glad to see a bit of Nagisa this episode. The talk about 'true love' was hilarious, especially from the main cast. Ishigami sold that perfectly and the anime made the scene look even more iconic. Chika'sa also hilarious this episode.

The singing segment is my favorite part of this episode especially with the tone deaf jokes. Props to Chika's VA to playing her character role so well.
