I'm assuming the doctor was in love with Kaguya's mother considering that last scene

I wonder if Hayasaka's embarrassment was faked

It actually makes a lot of sense given what we know.

The doctor and Kaguya's mother likely fell in love prior to choosing his medical specialty. He may have very well became a heart doctor for her since we found out she died of heart disease. (In theory they also could of had a similar relationship to that of our main 2 but either never got past being tsunderes or didn't have much time together prior to his departure for medical school) In the meantime the mother became the mistress for Kaguya's father and had Kaguya. Sometime before her death he became their family doctor but could not save her thus giving up on finding love. I'd guess Kaguya looks a lot like her mother and thus he was saddened by her cold & dead appearance in the past. He is likely very happy to see her happier now

Episode 9

And the movie continues as Miko continues to try and fit in with these oddballs as seeing her failing to play the straight one is just hilarious. Then Kaguya tries to come up with a ritual as a means of relaxation before a tense moment, and that's put to the test as her encounter with Miyuki looks just like a fighting game. And then Ishigami is join the cheerleading squad, so he decides to cross-dress, and after some crazy stuff he's in. That was quite a hilarious episode, especially the fighting game portrayal seeing how Kaguya delivers that finishing blow, and Ishigama has great trap potential.

I just love how innovative this show can be when it shows Kaguya and Miyuki's relationship segments.

That piano song during Iino's fantasies sounded a lot like that one pop song "I Need a Hero"

Best episode so far with the 'I NEED A HERO' ripoff, the reference to Madonna and 'Vogue' and Ishigami's about to get his time in the spotlight!

Wow so funny, love the Peanuts, ughh Vogue (I'll always remember that song as what was on the radio when I got my first speeding ticket), and Iino's fantasy clearing Pres but damning Kaguya LOL, her opening the door , cataching a glimpse of Ishigami (hey I thought he said he didn't wear boxer-briefs) and just closing it again was great. Unfortunately almost zero Fujiwara

Lol damn that leg lock, Miko sure got that wild imagination. I like the friendship(?) that Kaguya and Ishigami have. Ishigami got some pecs.

Episode 10

Here comes Miyuki's father as Miyuki is at a loss when the girl he loves runs away. Kei is onto him as well, but his father made things right. Then Miyuki is tasked with being part of a soran dance group, but his dancing is so horrible. Instead of doing something to help him, Miyuki becomes part of a tug-of-war, and all of the sudden that stretchy feeling got him to dance. And then Miko is up to her disciplinary enforcement again. And then comes the sports festival where Miyuki performs the soran dance. Miyuki's father sure talks big seeing that he's not around him often while Kaguya is, and thus he doesn't know about him as much as a father is supposed to. That ending was pretty hilarious.

Super funny as always plus lots of extra love for Ishigami this week, let's guess why the girl really transferred.

And nicely captured family dynamic :D
