Well, I think it's the pressure that the society, and mostley the media, are giving us daily. We are all striving to become perfect, but what defines a perfect human being?

A human being can never be -what I define- perfect. That is why we get insecure, and ashamed of ourselves, just because we are different. Think people, just think... we ARE different, accept it, and make it better.

just be kind compassionate.. .care for and be charitable with everyone you can... a shine of love and care in the most odd and strange person you come accross can mean the difference between life and death.... or love and emptiness...

also affects how they inturn might go and interact with others.... eh...

be nice ... be good

say the word love to someone if you can bring yourself to risk it... actually that could prove somewhat dangerous

but that word sure is worthwhile reguardless of the danger... oh ... and try to be brave and selfless... far harder... but bein nice and good starts it off

Inconsistency in 2 of your concerns:

Isn't "slut" a judgmental term about sexuality?

As for the rest of it, it can seem like a terrible world at times. Yes, there are huge injustices, but overall in a lot of ways it is still a wonderful place. For every abusive person there are hundreds of nice ones. The fact that some of the things you listed still make the news and shock us shows that the vast majority of people aren't abusive and discriminatory.

There is no answer to why these things happen, or how we can stop them. Discrimination, abuse and depression has always been there and probably always will. Other people on this thread have stated that it is human nature. To a certain degree that is probably true. Humans have a tendency to form cliques and be suspicious or hostile towards those who don't fit in with their own particular clique. It can be overcome on an individual level. The majority of people can overcome their prejudices. All we can really do is to make sure we individually not to discrimate or categorise, and if we hear our friends doing this, speak up. If enough people around the world do this, things might change, but I won't hold my breath. A minority of people will always give all humans a bad name.

i'm sick of society, how people act so smart and yet they need rules to keep themselves balanced if they're smart why do they need rules and order.

-Why do people commit SUICIDE?

They feel that ending the pain that they imagine exists is easier than facing it.

-Why do people cut themselves?

They feel that they can handle physical pain better than emotional or mental pain

-Why do girls become anorexic and bulimic?

They fall prey to low self esteem and feel they need to emulate the ideal woman that the media presents. It's also a control issues. they do it becuase they don't feel they have control in other places in thier lives, but their weight THEY can control.

-Why do kids bring guns to school?

They want attention, they want people to notice them, and for the ones who DO somethign with them, it's a scream for help.

-Why do kids get they start using meds, and abusing them?

They are not getting something at home, attention, affection, love, respect. Any one or more of those can cause this. By using drugs they can feel a "part" of something. That the other kids who are using drugs are their "friends" It's also a fall back method of escapism.

-Why do girls feel the need to act like sluts to impress guys?

It's an attention thing. Girls act like that because they want to feel loved, more than likely they aren't getting what they need emotionally from home and act out by making themselves a sexual object to fight the aching loneliness inside.

-Why cant people show their sexuality freely, without worrying about being judged?

Well in the US, the media and the puritan roots that our country was founded on, is still stuck in the dark ages. People who express their sexuality freeely are opening themselves to be judged. - I do not have a problem with gay/bi people (i'm bi myself) BUT i don't think that they need to flaunt it. I mean normal PDA is ok, but is there an "I', STRAIGHT" parade? no... do we need to have an "I'm GAY" parade? no. That's your personal life, not everyone needs to know it.

In the Bill Of Rights, it says we have FREEDOM OF SPEECH! So why are we so afraid to speak up for ourselves?

Freedom pf speech refers to the right to speak freely without the fear of government persecution.
You can say "I hate the fucking president" without going to jail. This is not the case in certain other countries.

Cliques , whores , geeks , goths , emos

Society in general!!!

We live in a world where if your not skinny , not beautiful , not sexy , and not straight , your tortured , abused , and humiliated . We say that we are all EQUAL , but there is still racism , sexism , and people judging others based on RELIGION , COLOR , SIZE & HERITAGE...

You're perpetuating by using those stereotypes as examples. But just so you know, stereotypes all stemmed from a "truth"
Change must start from within, and if you still see the world with those labels then that's the problem, you subscribe to those stereotypes. Instead of seeing the world as emo or goth or whatever else you listed, try seeing everyone as a person. You can make up your own mind if you see them as good or bad, but by seeing them ALL as just people, the lines diminish. They will never go away, and to think they can is rediculous, you can't control how other people think and see things.

Stereotypes, and everything else.
I want to live in a good place, without suicide, rape, murder, and JUDGMENT!

Sweetheart... that place does not exist. it never WILL exist.
People react to the same stimulus in various different ways.
I can see a couple kissing on a park bench and find it truely disgusting, while you might find it romantic.
Everyone judges everything, and that's actually good! we NEED people to make their own judgements to figure out who they are and what they want out of life.
To live in a utopian society like you mentioned... you would get bored out of your mind. People would become cookie cutters. The only way for no judgement is for EVERYONE to be EXACTLY the same.
Otherwise, those little nagging self-judgements in the back of your mind will take over.
That's just the way of the world.
And the psychology of the human mind.

one reason, how you are raised
Were you taught right from wrong (were you also taught to do right)?
Were you brought up in the right environment (not overprotected but not exposed to danger)?
Were you taught to think about other people's feelings (what they feel like after you wrong them)?
Were you loved?
All this affects childern and molds them into who they will be. Granted, they have a choice, but it is influenced on how they are raised.
