This is becoming a very interesting thread lol. Well, this other guy went around talking to Americans saying stuff like "Our president, Tim Horton, is issuing a policy..." LMAO Tim Horton XD

come on, you can't make fun of Americans for not knowing who the prime minister of Canada is. nobody knows that.

and whats with the Tim Hortons? are there donuts that good?

harper right now, hes a robot the american presdient is a monkey and the whole world is a zoo. One of the reasons for the "cold canada" stereotype is probably that american temperatures are in ferinhight (big numbers) and Canada's is in Celsius (small numbers) too bad we don't use kalvin then it would look like we were really warm.

I remember the show you were talking about cause we once watched it in my geography class. Most of the people in the class thought it was pretty funny when the kid goes to his mom: "Mom, Canada doesn't have states, it has provinces." or something along those lines. I liked it when they got people to sing a fake nation anthem and when they were talking about how we wanted to change our flag to either a maple leaf, a puck or a moose head (I think), and most people said we should go with the puck idea.

LOL....this is a funny thread.

Some of the things I get asked when I am vacating in the US:

1. What hockey team I play for
2. How did I get the special papers to be able to cross the border

Funniest thing happened 1 year, it was around July, very hot outside (around 100F - 40ish C) and me and some friends were playin with a frizzbee and some people from florida pulled over and asked us where the nearest ski hill was - we pointed north and said go about a couple thousand more kms and you will get some snow....lol

Yes it is true milk is sold in plastic bags in Canada.
Advantages:
1. 3 one litre bags are contained in one bigger bag.
2. 1 one litre bag can be opened at a time leaving the other two fresh and sealed.
3. Cost of production and re-cycling is cheaper. The bags fold up small once emptied.
4. This way is more sanitary than plastic milk bottles. Less risk of contamination, less bulk in re-cycling
5. This ways is cheaper than glass milk bottles. Less contamination, breakage , storage and recycling.
By the way we have a special plastic milk jug into which we stand the one litre bag for pouring once it is opened. Many people also wash the sturdy one litre bags and store other items in them, once they are dried. Double usage, less waste.
