hey guys i and my buddie discused if sang doo lets go to school has a happy ending or a bad ending

happy end : they lived together and had their own child (myopinion)

my buddie said its a bad ending because
: they died and were in heaven together with a child

i think that if sang doo didn't die he wouldn't abandon Bori so easily..and in the last scene he turned away when he saw eunhwan;( he told her to not wait for him
and in the family picture there aren't sang doo and eunhwan..i think in korea it's impossible that they cut their ties with rest of is really important for i think that it's a bad ending too;(

no i think they survive i mean the mother of bori had an another child it was hm.. 5 months old? i think sang doo had time with bori etc. and he had so much time to think about his live in the prison , and decided to life a live with a woman he loves

what do U THINK?

it was a happy ending, everyone got what they wanted, Sang doo and Eun hwan got to love each other and have their own daughter at their hometown where the story began, the rest of their family is living happily too, playing cards and taking a family picture, the only guy that get the bitter end is the doctor who's all alone missing sang doo's company...

Sangdoo and EunHwan did not die. They just went back to their hometown, get married and have their own child and Sangdoo finally managed to say 'saranghae' to Eunhwan. Hence, its a happy ending (in my opinion).

I think it was a sad ending where they died. Bori was just too important to Sangdoo for him to just leave her. in the end Bori even says that she doesn't remember his face anymore. Even if you go on the conclusion that Sangdoo left to start his own family he must have at least visited Bori...and if he visited then Bori shouldn't have forgotten what he looks like.
I think they both died at the end and in heaven they were able to make a life and family that they weren't able to make on Earth.

i thought the ending was abit rushed
but overall i think it was a happy and sad ending
happy because sang doo gets to live with the love of his life in his hometown and also has a child, bori and her mother has a happy family
sad because sang doo parts with the daughter that he has cared for so many years

1 .- Obviously died there. The red light is a sign of fate, were destined to be together until the end of they life, but it happened sooner than expected.

2 .- The ending was not rushed nor weird, atleast for me it was completely fine and the best way to end the drama.

The last scene is not heaven or whatever other religious place you like, is just a branch of life answering the question to "what would happen if that would not have happened?", it is from the day their lives begin to fall apart.

That day is the day after the Cha family is forced to flee and Sang Doo was imprisoned, if that had not happened he probably would have run away from his family and left everything to be with her and they would have lived together in peace... but that did not happen because the world is not a perfect world, as the end says "... in a world without despair."

I think this drama deserve a remake with better casting, it was an awesome direction and script but the cast sometimes got short and did not show the feeling of the story to the fullest, thats why many people got confused with the ending.
