I think it's fun watching dubbed movies if you want to make fun of the voices and bad dubbing...plus you can tell that they use the same people for a lot of dubbed things...haha but subtitles are way better, I'd rather get the original voice in there and read the dialogue.

sometimes when a show is subbed the subs can barely be seen and thats the only reason i would dubbed unless all i could find was dubbed
i prefer subbed better because it doesn`t mess with wat they say for example dragon ball Z, in the english version they would edit stuff like cursing for the little kids which in the japanese version they didn`t care about cursing but the japanese goku sounded like a prick

Subtitles, hands down. Plus, it has to remain in the spoken language it was done in. Dubbing just ruins the movie or anime because it loses a lot of the cultural speech nuances and tones etc. 'Sides, the voice actors were specifically chosen so they 'fit' their characters, dubbers aren't. Man, some of the dubbers just plain sux. I have tried watching dubs in their different languages, and its terrible, no matter how well it was done. One thing I especially hate is when Eng. dubbers try to 'mimic' the higher voices of the anime characters, its enough to give me multiple seizures. Even when it is a Cantonese show dubbed into Mandarin, or vice versa. It is a blue moon when you find one that is perfect.

^ True true. Dubbed anime or drama is just annoying. Eng dub is just plain weird. When I was small I used to watch malay dubbed Doraemon. I never liked it. So I watched it here at crunchyroll and was delighted to listen to Doraemon speaking japanese for the first time ^^

I prefer subtitles for the most part (and pretty much all the foreign films here appear to be subbed). Sometimes it's strange though because I'll buy a DVD and the default will be dubbed. ie, once I bought a canto movie and it played default with mandarin dubbing. Sounded really weird because it was set in Hawaii so they left in the English from the original cast.

I prefer subtitles because dubs are usually poorly done. Even if they are well done I still watch the films in their original language.

Some people get "annoyed" because god-forbid they have to read while watching a movie lol. I honestly prefer it. Even if it's in english, I like having subs on if I'm watching a movie. You always seem to catch more. ^^

I also like to watch movies in English with subtitles as well.

subbed whenever possible. dubbing sometimes makes it funnier but yea, subbed all the way (which btw gets messed up too).
