Look over the lists that the users have provided. If you see a song, album, or single that you want, PM that user. After telling the user the artist and song(s) you want, both users should decide upon how the music will be transfered.

You can transfer using AIM, MSN, or any instant message client as long as both users agree to it. If one user feels uncomfortable giving out their username, the user can use an uploading client. Uploading clients such as Sendspace and Megaupload make transfering files easier. All the user needs to do is upload their file (1) and provide the link given to the other user. The other user will then just need to click on the link provided, click the download link (with Megaupload, you will need to input a code and wait about a minute) to start downloading. This is an excellent idea if multiple users are requesting the song(s) and you do not wish to transfer the files individually. This is also a good idea if you do not want to give out your email, screenname, etc. It takes anywhere between 10-60 minutes to upload a file.

1) If you are transfering more than one song, you will need to compress the file using WinRAR unless you plan on uploading each song individually.

You can send music files and folders (or any files or folders) through AIM and MSN messangers.
Post what music you have and want and also someway you can be reached. Also don't forget to mention if you use itunes, quicktime, windows media player don't want to send someone music that can only be opened in itunes, when the reciever doesn't have itunes.

Holy crap, that sounds just like all the music I have downloaded... except the Beatles and The Who. The Beatles are old and boring and I've never even heard of " The Who."

Not sure what the forum policy is on "music trading," but I think most anything you're looking for can be found on

here are the results for Miyavi:

Well this is a really long list and it's only of the albums/singles that are currently on my computer. I probably won't update the list with the music that I haven't put on my computer because that would take hella long (and isn't something I particularly want to do). I suppose if you want to "trade" music, you can PM me requests and such. I prefer progressive metal, power metal, symphonic metal, ska, and 'indie' rock music.

EDIT: I use megaupload, sendspace, etc to transfer music rather than AIM because AIM sucks and randomly closes on me.

EDIT 2: Please note that these are complete albums/singles, not individual songs or artists' discographies.

Don't like the Beatles, and never heard of the who, dang.

Have about 15 gigs, ~100 artists, ~300albums, ever growing,

but yea I'd recommend torrents or file sharing sites.

Can get a decent Idea from my artist view. Uh might notice some odd things in there, that i just have not bothered to get rid of.

And I tend to keep complete albums. Quality varies from 320kbps to 128.

the only reason why i choose AIM and MSN is because almost everyone has one of the two. Personally i don't want to download ten different things just to be compatible w/ one person, someone is telling me to download sendspace while another is telling me to use ares, while someone else is telling me to go elsewhere and use what they use.
