It's cool because it takes a different perspective on robots than what we usually see. zettai mimashou!

Hi, I enjoyed watching the first two episodes of Time of Eve subtitled on the streaming, so I paid the donation and downloaded them.

The result was terrible. The video quality was the same or worse than the streaming and the subtitles were hard-coded and lagged behind the spoken dialogue by about one second--long enough that it was very confusing during conversations. I sent a complaint/bug report to CrunchyRoll but never heard back.

Has anyone else had this problem? I wanted to own all the episodes of this series, but I don't want to pay for more if they are all going to be worse quality than the free streams.

I definitely find this story totally interesting. There's a lot of anime out there where a robot servant is a bodacious babe with super powers, but not a lot where they're integrated into real life and can be all sorts of average.

The animation and soundtrack are both gorgeous, too. The sound is so different from other anime, it makes Time of Eve very unique and recognizable!

I'm sad about the wait between episodes, but after seeing the director's interview I can understand why it would take so long. Definitely don't want to sacrifice quality for quantity--quality is the best part about Time of Eve!

Chobits fascinated me first with the concept of AI's, people, and their interactions. I read almost all of it, mostly being curious about the interactions and how the artist imagined a world with AI.

This is even better though! IRL androids act as they are expected, the news, media, and society have all the pressures to maintain thoughts of androids purely as objects, and yet the "objects" are fully thinking and feeling entities, if the Androids we've met in the cafe are any indication.

Taking it a step beyond that: are we any different? The creator for this story is actually trying to hit this question!

And i love that. The first episode i believe was my favorite, and the third was excellent as well~ i liked two, but it seemed more for drama purposes, though i can understand the expression and feelings that are trying to be shown by the reaction to seeing sammy at the cafe.

This is a phenomenal anime.

its interesting, its unique, its got real depth. The conversations are so like what we see in the real world with pauses in between dialogues, not the planned stuff. Its got raw emotion, cool funky music. its got mystery, it gives story without giving away too much. its not the usual shallow "kyaaaa i love you so much {insert name here}...." crap, to put it simply. its not just some random heroes going on an adventure to save the world. in fact, i really cant figure out whos the hero right now, if there even is one. which makes it even better.
and you cant forget that its absolutely hilarious
yasuhiro's other works were amazing too.

its just really hard to explain what it is, but theres just something very unique about this anime. he uses everyday problems and turns them into something better

I found the show interesting due to the interesting way it was all presented. It fits well with a series of stories that I have connected together which I began to call "The stories of Judgment Day." The judgment day stories are based on the development of robots taking over the earth and what takes place during and after.
I only found one serious problem with the show and that is the simple basics of computers. See the idea in the other stories that was established is that artificial intelligence was programed into the robots purposely. In this show they have not established that, in fact it comes a a surprise to everybody that these robots can act on their own. Programmers haven't mentioned anything of the sort to anybody. Robots can not magically be intelligent they have to be programmed to do so, I'm gonna give the show the benefit of the doubt that it will soon develop more on why the robots have AI. That's so far the only flaw, I can only hope that with how well this show is developing it'll soon get rid of that flaw.

To me, its not just a story not about robots(more accurately humanoids) and humans BUT it uses the relationship between humanoids and humans to parallel some of the real human-human relationships.

excellent gfx, dialogue and storyline.

Love the show, hate the waiting.

It's alright. Nothing groundbreaking, but I like it well enough.

But I'd really only follow it if the episodes were all ready at the time you began airing it. It's very annoying to have to wait for new episodes.

An anime that gives emphasis on Robot(specifically "Androids") as the story goes on it uncovers the secrets behind those shells that contained them.

I am really looking forward to see each episode and hopefully they'll find a way to hasten its production.
