Going to an Incubus concert. They may have been more prominent in the 90's, but the always sound great! <3

It's actually very rare for us to see gigs from American or European bands (I'm from the Philippines). I heard RHCP was supposed to have a live here, but changed their mind, thinking that terrorism is very prevalent here. That made me a sad panda.

I guess the point here is that these recent years, more and more bands have been including Manila in their tour destinations! Which is cool, since there weren't as much of such concerts during the past decades

coolest experiences were traveling to Philippines and sightseeing
lived in Saudi Arabia for 14 years
got stranded in Nagoya, Japan (wish i stayed longer:( )
going to LAS VEGAS!!!
white sandy beaches in Destin, Florida
highest rollercoaster in the world in Cedar Ohio

haha that's pretty much it..i would narrow it down to Nagoya and Philippines...

got stranded in Japan coz the plane had "mechanical problems"..but all well that ends well..even though we were pretty pissed off..they told us that we were staying in a 5-star hotel with free dinner and breakfast..the rooms were free to drink water off the faucet( dont usually do that), i tell ya that water was actually better than the water i used to drink..the toilet bowl had an automatic water squirting off of it and i got to wear one of those kimono like pajamas..haha altho i can't barely move off of it...mann wish i could go back

Philippines, pretty much, we go there for vacations all the time..and i always love it just feel different to me..even though the weather ain't that pretty, i love that place..wish i could go back soon too..i haven't even begun to see some of the amazing things in that place..

hehe i guess i said too much..lolz

The coolest thing in my life was to see real penguin in nature!!! It was so cute ^0^

..and then one of those weirdest cool things. It was a nice fall night at the grave yard at my town and I kind of made one dead girl very pissed off. I was just hanging there 'cause I find it very calming and then suddenly I started hearing wishpering around and when I looked down towards a grave with girls face on it, I can swear I saw her lips moving! I ran away pretty fast but when I got to streets all the lights were turning off when I walked by. And the wind, well it's another story.

I have many other stories like that as well but I don't feel like writing them all here, it would take a year.

It's not any of my coolest experiences but it defently is worth writing down,
and hopefully something fun for you to read!

This moth something happend that never happend before.
I thought my teacher was really cool...
we had religion lesson and talked about god.

In my class we all have many
different thoughts and we love to discuss so we all started to talk at the same time.
what happens?
well the teacher gets mad ofcurse,
class had just started and we're already disturbing..

So anyway. Every one was really fired up. And somehow our calm yet fired up 'talk' ended up like this..

= person 1 =person 2 =person 3 =teacher

-so you think god is some old man on a cloud then, walking around and lalala or what?Is that what you belive?

- No I didnt say that just that he's above, he's something we can not get a whole picture of.

-well If he exist why dont he show himself? how do we know he even exists? just look at all the wars!! yay thank you god for letting all people die...Is that something to belive in? Is that God?His way to say Hey i exist belive in me

- ........NOO why are you so stupid, get it into that little brain of yours--

-Guys stop it.... the teacher is glaring at you

- so what I want to know how you can belive in something you cant be sure exists!!how can you belive in god if he makes so many unhappy?

- that's enough. everyone have their own belives about god and some dont belive in god at all.

- So you say that there is a god? do you belive in god?

- Well if you define your question, what is God? then I'll let you know if i belive in God!

The teacher made her shut up and that has never happend before.
I've never seen that person speachless in the 3 years we've been in the same class.
It mady my day!!!!! And I'll probobly remember it for the rest of the year!!!!!!

hahaha sweet :D

Well, now I'm gonna share something cool that happened to me 2 years ago

I'd been to the workshop 2 weeks earlier with my car and they'd
changed the brakes on it so I had finally got good brakes.
However, I couldn't afford to make them fix the handbrake...
The wire to it was too loose, but I always put the car in a gear when I park it.

However, an early morning I was going for work as usual and it's not much traffic
out on the roads that time, and a chance too see a police is like impossible.
So I was driving like I always do... (way above speed limit)
So there I was, going in high speed thinking on flower or whatever
But I was not gonna meet a police this day either, instead I caught up to 3 cars
on a straight way so I speeded up even more to overtake em'.

I always have my second eye on the turn ahead incase I would meet traffic running torwards me.
And this normal day it had of course to come a big ****ing truck there so I had to cancel my overtake.
Since I was going in such high speed I had to hurry a bit, so I stepped on the brake pedal,
but there was no resistence! ... I stepped on it again, - down to the ****ing carfloor!!!
But it happened absolutely nothing.

So there I was, in totally too high speed, overtaking cars and, getting traffic torwards me
and I had no brakes!! ... But it's weird, cause when I had stepped the brake down to the floor,
Everything was like going in slowmotion. During that 0.5 seconds it was like time didn't existed,
and I knew exactly what I had to do!

So I stepped on my clutch pedal, let loose my right arm from the wheel and
"hit" the shifting gear down to a lower gear. It didn't sound that nice, but I dropped
radically in speed, so I got into the same speed as the cars I was overtaking.
So then I could throw in my car between them to safety.

Then I turned on the warning blinkers and decreased speed by shifting down gears.
However, the day after, we took the car to another workshop and they saw that
the other workshop had put the brakefuel hose totally wrong.
The backaxle to the backwheels had ripped it off so I had lost all the brakefuel,
so that was the reason I had no pressure to the brakes.

I discussed it with the first workshop, like they had to redo it and make it right,
but they said they hadn't done anything wrong and wouldn't help me.
So I just said: - Fine! ... and left...

I didn't wanted to take it to the court cause it cost money...
But it wasn't just that which pissed me off. Cause what if I'd been driving in
town and people was crossing the road and I had no brakes!!!
But then they'd been screwed cause it had been a police investigation...

Anyways, everything went good and there was no fatal accident.
But I find it cool how I can act that fast in pressed situations.
I've had a few of those experiences, but this one was the coolest

Peace Out!

I don't know if you would call this cool but here are some random experiences I've had:

- a Japanese person homestayed in our house
- I saw a Japanese Bible
- I found out that one of the government buildings has a corn field

I'll add more when they come to my mind.

I think the person that invited me to this group had this story in mine. Please remember it is 100% true. Also, in order to tell it well, I need to explain it in detail.

Last year on August 25th, 2007, in attended a performance of Cirque du Soleil's newest touring show, Kooza. What makest this experience cool is that during the second act I was brought up onstage and was part of the show for about ten minutes. Here's what happened.

During the second act of the show one of the performers came out on stage and said. "Okay, we're going to play a game. Who likes to play games?" He then came into the audience and approached me and said "You, how would you like to come up onstage and play a game with me?" I was a bit relucant at first but I figured I would never get another chance like this again. So agreed to go up onstage with him. Keep in mind that the size of the audience was approximately two thousand people.

The performer got me to introduce myself to the audience. So I said my name, "Brock". Then he said, "Brock, do you like to play games?" and I said "Yes." "Good" he said " because we are going to play a with this Red Sponge Ball. What I want you to do is to watch really closely and point to which hand you think the ball is in." He than clapped his hands together and then held both hands and covered up the ball so I didn't know which hand it was in. So when I pointed to one of his hands and of course the ball was in his other hand. "Oh that's to bad" he said, "perhaps you were just nervous. Lets try again, really concentrate this time." So he repeated the same process as before and again I picked the wrong hand.

"Your not having much luck there are you Brock." he said. "I know why do you hold the ball, that way you will know where it is."
So, he placed the ball in the palm of my right hand, closing my hand around it. He than ask me to hold my hand out in front of me and when I opened my hand there were two balls in my hand instead of one. It was a pretty neat little trick.

However, the whole business with the ball was just to keep me distracted. You see, the performer was actually a pickpocket artist. So while I was standing there in front of the audience he proceeded to pick my pockets. So after I have opened my hand and the two balls appeared. He started to show me all the things he had gotten off me without me noticing.

The first thing he showed me were some bits of paper I had stuck in my pocket. Next he showed me my car keys, then my wallet and my glasses, (he had me take them off a put them in my jacket pocket when I first went up on stage.) He then thanked me for participating and that I could return to my seat. However, just before I stepped off the stage he said to me, "Brock are you sure you are missing anything else?" As I turned around, he held up my tie. That's right, somehow he had taken off the tie I had been wearing around my neck in front of two thousand people without me noticing.

Later, when I was leaving the show I learned from the audience that what happened was each time he took something off me he would hold it up behind my back. So the only person who didn't know what was going on was me. Some of the audience even accused me of being a plant but I wasn't. So, beware if you ever attend a Cirque du Soleil show you might just wind-up being part of the show.

One last footnote to this story, two weeks ago a lady came into the bookstore I work at and she recognized me from being onstage at Cirque.

This is one of my best memories and I really enjoy telling it to people because I get to relive it all over again.

Thank you for you time.

This is a little scary but cool.. last november we had a ghost hunt on a run down house in our village, but not one of us dared to enter, instead we just sat there outside the house waiting for somthing to happen. but not on my side, the whole time i was starin with someone on the other side of the house but i didnt tell my friends coz i know theyll be scared, inspite of what im seeing we still sat there waiting for them to see something(which im already lookin at) we stayed there for quite an hour but they didnt see anythin. then they gave up on the hunt which is already scarin me. as we were about to leave i saw the dark image move to the visible side of the house with crimson red eyes. that time i ran of. hehehe cool huh???
