The N-Gage is to video games as Madonna is to acting - a complete failure.

I mean who needs a PSP and a DS when you have all the horrible fun of an N-Gage!!!

Haven't really been checking on the N-Gate after it faded into obscurity but wow, why did they decide to bring back a failure? Though the new model actually doesn't seem that bad, but will let you decide with the the full article.

Nokia to launch N-Gage on Tuesday

Inside sources tell our friends at that the delayed games service go live next Tuesday, letting users enjoy console-quality graphics on their mobiles, play against friends over the internet and download new games whenever they like.

Unlike previous versions of N-Gage, the new system doesn't need a dedicated gaming handset to work, just one of the company's new N-Series phones. Or at least that's the plan eventually.

At first it'll only work with the N81, Nokia's new music and games handset. Owners of N95s and N93 handsets will have to wait until the new year.

Still, it's a start, and with titles like Brothers in Arms, The Sims 2 Pets and FIFA 08 ready for download immediately it'll finally mean an end to crumbly Java games. Hooray!
Out Dec 18th

let me tell you... this thing sucked.
it was the laughing stock of E3 03-05.. still is now.

they should stop trying, seriously.
know when to call it quits.
