The nice thing about peak oil. or even the disease option. is that while it may suck personally, at least humanity will live on. and be sufficiently pared back to stop threatening the entire ecosystem.. so we'd survive and we be sufficiently diminishe that we wouldn't be poisoning our own well anymore.

Well what did you expect, when you smoke pot you get the munchies. Whats so special about that case ? That's why they give it to cancer patients, cause cancer patients don't want to eat either. Same concept.

Personally I could care less whether or not its legal or illegal, people are still going to smoke it anyway.

And even if it did get legalized, which it probably won't, you still won't be able to smoke it anytime where ever you want.

Still won't be able to smoke it at work, for the same reason you cannot drink alcohol at work, or do meth or coke at work, your a liability and hazard when your drunk or stoned and no work would get done.

Won't be able to smoke it in public, for the same reason you can't smoke regular cigarettes in public, not everybody wants to smell and inhale that smoke.

But in your own home on your time on your dollar who the hell cares. do what you want.

But if it does get legalized it will be taxed some ungodly high tax. like 50% or more. Just what we need, more taxes.

When it comes to the legalization, I am not completely sure what is the best option. I, personally, do not believe in the use of weed because of the afflictions that come with it, however when something such as this or alcohol is banned people are more inclined to find a way to get it and use it. It's a form of reverse Psychology.
